As Cuban dissidents arrested, Pope Francis enjoys friendly and informal conversation with Castro

Pope Francis’s visit to Cuba is proving to be a very comfortable event for the brutally repressive and dictatorial regime. The closest thing, so far, to a challenge to the oppression of dissidents has been the invitation to a dissident group, The Ladies in White, to attend a cathedral service held by the pope. However, according to the U.K. Telegraph, 22 of 24 members of the group were detained by security police and could not attend. Other dissidents fared as badly:

Cuban authorities prevented leading dissidents from meeting Pope Francis in Havana on Sunday, in a sign of the Communist regime’s rigid intolerance of political opposition.

Pope Francis honors Communist officials who have spent their entire careers imprisoning, torturing and even killing faithful Catholics.

Meanwhile, Castro's security thugs prevent faithful Catholics from seeing the Pope. And Pope Francis is fine with that.

This guy’s a charlatan, undeserving of any respect.

Get rid of this fraud, get him out or the Church will continue to bleed members

Francis probably spent half the time asking Fidel what his hero, Che, was really like.

If this is going on, and the Pope says nothing, then he is fine with it.

Castro has a bad history with Catholics, like expelling priests and closing catholic schools. Shouldn't the Pope bring this up? Is he only here to criticize US capitalism and promote algores climate change theology?

Pope Che likes brutal dictators who torment the people so long as it is done “in the name of the people.”

Politicians might behave this way but where is Christ to be seen in this picture. This looks like a shadow of an echo of a ghost or something.

Why does this Pope spend time with a Cuban dissident and murderer? Unrepentant Castro killed more innocent people Than all the serial murderers in United States history, and yet this Pope for political gain sits down with him and treats him like a human being.

He deserves what he gets when he meets with Obama and his homosexual entourage.

This Pope is really questionable. He doesn’t seem to deserve the title of Saint Peter’s successor.

Francis feels an special attraction for Marxist tyrants, Evo Morales, the Castro brothers, and every other Latin American Communist agitator that share his hatred for capitalism and U.S. The first act of Pope Francis as soon as took power was to call back to his side all the leaders of the Marxist liberation theology that were condemned and ostracized by H.H. John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Leonardo Boff, the most radical Marxist of all the liberation theology leaders was called by Francis to help him write the Encyclical on the Environment.

It was a nauseated spectacle to see the “familiar and friendly” dialog among the Pope and Satan in Cuba regardless the tens of thousands murdered by the Castro brothers and more than 55 years of brutal oppression of the Cuban people.

How would have been the Castro’s sycophants in control of the American media if Pius XII had have a friendly and familiar encounter with Hitler of Stalin?

I remember when “Is the Pope Catholic?” was supposed to represent an easy question with an obvious answer.

“I remember when “Is the Pope Catholic?” was supposed to represent an easy question with an obvious answer.”

Perhaps, “Is the Pope Communist?” is new the version for our current Pope.
