Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson says Islam is antithetical to the Constitution, and he doesn't believe that a Muslim should be elected president.
Carson, a devout Christian, says a president's faith should matter to voters if it runs counter to the values and principles of America.
Responding to a question during an interview broadcast Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press," he described the Islamic faith as inconsistent with the Constitution.
"I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation," Carson said. "I absolutely would not agree with that."
[snip] Carson's comments came amid lingering fallout over Republican Donald Trump's refusal last week to take issue with a man during a campaign event who wrongly called President Barack Obama a Muslim and said Muslims are "a problem in this country."

Carson is right in that Islam is incompatible with western civilization, but muslims are free to run for office.

I agree. I have also said this to friends. Islam must under go a huge reformation in order to purge the slavery, violent and bigotry out of it’s texts or all potential immigrants/refugees must remain in their country of origin. Their faith is the antithesis of our Constitution & our Republic.
Criminals can run for office, but they are still criminals.
There is no right that stems from the purported Allah that gives Muslims any right to behead Jews in the United States, blow up buildings or gun down our military people.

He has actually has said, on a number of occasions, that Obama is intentionally trying to hurt this country.
Other black leaders say it too—like Col. West & Sheriff Clarke. The media does not want to draw attention to it.

But let's wait until 1000 of their kids simultaneously take their alarm clocks to 1000 different public schools (with the C-4 and detonators installed).
