That award made my opinion of The Peace Prize sink further that it already was.

My statement is not meant to discredit all of the great people who actually did great things and, oh by the way, received it.

The Nobel Peace prize was nearly worthless before Obama.
Now it is a term of derision.
Someone should take the bottles of Akvavit out of the Norwegian Parliament.
I have felt since they ‘awarded’ this muslim with that thing, that the Nobel isn’t worthy of anything anymore...

The Nobel prize being given to Obama was a slap at George W. Bush.

He followed it up with a troop surge; they apparently don’t realize that all of the unearned diplomas/degrees and unmerited jobs we’ve given away to blacks for 50 years haven’t “strengthened” anyone (but it has reinforced the belief, obviously held by our government, that blacks are genetically inferior to whites & Asians).
What? Strengthen for what? That is the lamest excuse I have ever heard for giving somebody a prize.
So smart, they’re stupid.
They further reduced the stature of the Peace Prize by treating it to Obama like a politically correct participation trophy is awarded to the losers in a child’s sports league.
Alfred Nobel is probably trying to figure out how to blow up the “prize” his discovery funds from the grave!
The day after obozo “won” that prize was classic here on FR.
