CNN's three-hour debate from hell
Politico ^ | September 17, 2015 | Hadas Gold

By the third hour of CNN's GOP presidential debate, the candidates looked like long-distance runners fading in the final lap: A sweating Marco Rubio ran his hands through his hair, Chris Christie's face turned red, a sagging Donald Trump grasped his lectern for support and, at times, seemed to crumple into his suit.

The so called debate, (actually a gang-up on Trump fest), was as if Tapper was a school teacher dragging around little Johnny around the classroom and brought before each little tyke to ‘say, “I am sorry, and won’t be naughty to you anymore”).

What a pile of crap that was nothing more than to boost ratings of a failing network.

Major kudos to CNN. 3 hours? No biggie.

At least we weren’t subject to MeGYN and the fools at Fox playing “gotcha” games.

Tapper ran the debate like this.

Do you agree what Trump said about...

What do you say to those who were offended by Donald Trump...

Mr Trump called so and so a such and such. Do you agree?

Ronald Reagan was a believer of global warming, do you disagree with Reagan?

Total gang up.

When Dems were debating in 2008, every question was framed to criticize Bush. Not each other.

Yesterday I started a major course of studies and had a busy day as a result. Was very tired. Started to watch the CNN debate of 11 GOP candidates last night. It became like a comedy reality show, which helped me to fall asleep.

Even worse for the network, its hosts failed to make the strong impression that their Fox News counterparts Megyn Kelly, Bret Baier, and Chris Wallace did in the first GOP debate.

Why is it important for for them to make an impression?

Trapper was lying about the scientists being right about the ozone hole growing. Turns out they were absolutely wrong just like they are being proved wrong about his Global Warming claims.

Yes, and for that fact pushes me into donalds corner even more...my wife, who’s a lefty, though not a liberal wacko, noticed everyone ganging up on him. “Stick to the issues!” She says.

Tapper did better than Fox did, but CNN was clearly trying to set up a pit fight.

CNN did better than Fox, but it was still horrible. First X questions were about Trump. All Trump, all the time.

The one thing I wish Trump would highlight is that as opposed to everyone else on that stage, he ACTUALLY created jobs - not those clowns.

Government doesn’t CREATE JOBS. TRUMP DOES! He’s running because he’s had to carry government as a very vocal, very irresponsible partner in every deal he’s ever done in the US. He DID say that he’s done these deals all over the world. That’s not nothing.

Hell for Tapper, especially on the subject of “climate change”. Best part, when Cruz had Kasich shaking with anger.

The other thing about Trump emphasizing that he created jobs is that when Fiorina tries to follow him there, someone will inevitably point out that Carly cost thousands their jobs - at Compaq, at HP, and at the suppliers that had her business. Then in violation of the law, she got away with $100M.

Judges hasn’t breached the surface of the campaign as an issue. They are making law. They did talk about SCOTUS a little, but not the judiciary.

If ANYTHING is out of control, that is. These guys should have been an effective hedge against Obama, but they haven’t.
