After delivering a 13-minute "foreign policy" speech in which he touched only briefly on anything approaching foreign policy, Donald Trump began to throw his signature — and highly sought after — "Make America Great Again" hats into the California crowd.

Trump has turned the whole process into a giant circus/game show/reality TV program. His speeches are heavy on bombast and lighter-than-air on policy specifics. He uses his Twitter feed and Instagram account to taunt his Republican rivals for being "low-energy" (Jeb Bush) or an "okay doctor" (Ben Carson).
He says things — about John McCain, about Megyn Kelly, about menstruation, about Carly Fiorina's looks — that would doom other candidates but seem to have no negative effect on his candidacy.
In short, Trump does Trump. And, man, is it an entertaining show. Hell, he gives away free hats!

So Obama’s Greek Columns and fainting idiots, er followers, were just good old plain politics. But this...this is just a reality show. I don’t know if the left realizes it but they cheered on a circus act 8 years ago, and not it is what it is.
Obama didn’t do any news shows throughout the 2012 campaign. He did morning talk shows, ESPN, viral videos and all pure entertainment. No one at the Post had an issue when the presidency became a celebrity figure and not an actual governing entity.

Don’t get me wrong - I have my doubts about Trump. But whatever the coastal elites are against, I’m usually for, if nothing else than to poke a stick in their eye.
If Bush does the right thing and drops out I will reconsider one of the main stream candidates, NOT! This is way to much fun!

So, Trump should make a long spiel about just what policy he will invoke to run the country, just like the Professional Politicians running for office-—then, do nothing at all to chnge the country for the better but keep right on taking the bribes, etc they get for ‘conning’ the voters—Go Donald and give them all a new ‘a—hole”
When these leftist media cretins created and anointed the “celebrity” candidacies of JFK, Zero (and the Clintons, for that matter), thoroughly unqualified lightweights that were big on ego and light on ethics and morality, for them to be complaining about Trump under any circumstances is hypocrisy on an epic scale.
