Yea but remember that electing principled people is the problem. Those snakes just happened to magically appear in DC without any ‘staunch conservatives’ ever having elected them.

Like magic. Pragmatically.

I can't comment on the 100% capitulation rate because I really don't know. I do know that I have little confidence in Boehner and McConnell. They even look like pussies.

However, this division within the Republican party is nothing new. It has existed since at least the 1940s.

Every House member is up every two years. The founders thought that would ensure that the people could keep a short leash on the representatives.
It hasn’t been working that way.
We voters of VA-7 showed the country that a sitting Majority Leader can be booted from office if he is a weasel and about to betray the citizens on amnesty.

Term limits are in the hands of the voters if they have the courage to use them.

I'm still waiting for Trump to go after Boehner and McConnell.

I'm assuming that as "smart" as the Trump machine has been so far that it will save chainsawing these two BIGGER and MORE HATED political fools to the ground when Trump's team gives the signal to ELEVATE the confrontation to the next level.

Obamacare funding
Arming Terrorists
Giving Iran nukes
Planned Parenthood funding
Abandoning traditional marraige
Abandoning Immigration enforcement
No prosecution on Holder
No prosecution on Lerner
Repeated dog and pony shows by Issa and Gowdy on FF/Bhenghazi

Need I continue?

ONE of the above is grounds to primary every GOP pol. ONE.

100% capitulation while in control of 2 out of 3 branches of govt.

It is as if Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were still in their former positions as Speaker and Senate Majority Leader, regarding any effort to unravel the existing Obamacare or treaty misrepresentations. The deal with Iran WAS a treaty, by any honest definition, and as such, had to win approval of the Senate, not by a mere majority, but a supermajority.

A supermajority that had about three chances of being achieved - fat, slim, and none at all.

When sitting legislators come home with their lobbyist booty, it’s very hard to run against them.

This is one of the reasons the voters may not exercise properly their term limit opportunity.

Boehner has been bought and paid for by the best lobbyists in DC

Click Any Pic To Enlarge

I have emails concerning Boehner's crying. I am trying to find a source to verify those. It is said that Boehner has been coached. He has been given "acting lessons" as it were. His "crying" is as phoney as everything else he does.

See thats the thing. There is no difference at the end of the day. Does it really matter that they showvote? No. They come to the exact end Harry and Nancy do without the billions spent on propagandizing America over this stuff.

And when a ‘conservative’ backs that with a vote, they are only directly backing Obama. There is no wiggle room.

Maybe.

But Trump is supposed to be somebody who doesn't pull any punches.

Big deal he goes after a third rate candidates face.

Dave Brat defeated Eric Cantor even though he was outspent 20-1.

[”Reelected AFTER campaigning on working WITH Obama”]

The people of Kentucky may see the light now after the last 8 months, but he doesn’t care. He’s 73. He’ll die in this term or retire at the end of it—rich and self-satisfied.

I do not believe he understands he is one of the most hated men in America—and deservedly so.

Oh yes, I understand what you mean. It’s a result of the staunch conservatives electing the “lesser of two evils”.

But it appears to me, since the 2014 election specifically, that the lesser of two evils has, in fact, actually been the greater of two evils, and either way all we have done is increase the sum total of evil, because there is no such thing as lesser or greater evil.

There is only evil. To qualify evil is a mistake.

This is why I am personally having trouble with those who are saying we have to elect a proven conservative.

There is no such thing.

And the practical result of our conservative litmus tests in the past has been zero victories for good, and all victories for evil.

It really sucks to wake up and find that those whom you thought were your friends were your enemies all along, and that every thing they told you was lies, and that all you thought was real was fake.

All eyes that are paying attention are open; unfortunately, a lot of the voting public are more interested in NFL and Dancing with the Stars to care - too much trouble.

You know when you put it like that it rings a bell. Seems that there were some folks on FR that predicted exactly that...

How odd. I just can’t seem to remember their names... But just today in fact one guy was still calling them a kook for being right. That happened a lot though...

;)

All we can do is vote for what we believe in. We can never know ‘if’ someone good will turn but electing those we know are human garbage ‘will’ result in a bad outcome. No exceptions. Ever..

If elected Trump will most likely be working ‘with” a heavily Democrat House and Senate. Who would vote for Republicans after the last two elections? Elections, at least elections to Congress, have NO effect. If there were only 10 Democrat House members and 5 Democrat Senators, Hussein would still be getting everything he wants and just as easily. By the next election the makeup of the Congress will matter even less because Congress has given over its substantial powers to the President. In 2016 we will be electing a Dictator and it will 90% likely be whatever Democrat wins the D Nomination. The Republican will have to get at least 2/3 of the legitimate vote to break even in the counted votes.
