Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson jabbed Tuesday at front-runner Donald Trump's proposal to deport everyone who is in the country illegally, calling the plan impractical.
"People who say that have no idea what that would entail" legally and otherwise, Carson said, adding: "Where you going to send them?"
The retired neurosurgeon spoke before The Commonwealth Club of California on Tuesday in a 75-minute event in which he took questions from the audience on topics ranging from abortion to immigration, taxation to race relations.
Carson's longshot candidacy is buoyed by humor and a self-deprecating demeanor that some would-be voters say they find refreshing. Trump, the brash front-runner in the GOP nomination fight, has made immigration a centerpiece of his candidacy. Trump says he would deport those living in the country illegally estimated at 11 million people.

Bye Bye Ben =)
Becoming clearer every day who is behind the good doctor.
Keep digging that hole Dr. Ben.
“estimated at 11 million people”
That’s just in Fresno county, right?
There are issues on which I am flexible, but Amnesty is not one of them. Rewarding criminal behavior is not an acceptable government policy. Illegals have to be deported, fined the cost of enforcement, and permanently barred from re-entry and from all paths to citizenship.
No form of Amnesty is acceptable. No form of Obamacare is acceptable. No form of restriction on our individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms is acceptable. No form of infringement on our right to the free exercise of religion is acceptable. I will tolerate differences in other areas, but those are absolutes.
But I learned right here on FR that principle does not matter. He won’t lose their votes. Between them and the Greepers that oppose construction of a fence I doubt it will impact him here much less the right overall. It might even gain him more liberals.
“Where you going to send them?”
********************************************************************
Send them all to Mexico, I don’t care if they’re Chinese illegals, send them to Mexico, so Mexicans can see how they like it.
“Where you going to send them?”
Home of course.
Do you have to be a brain surgeon to figure that out?
Oh Wait...
They work on our farms here in the north and then go home.
Bye Ben, we hardly knew ya. Good luck.
Carson, you haven’t a Chinaman’s chance.
Be graceful and exit like Perry.
Home of course.
Do you have to be a brain surgeon to figure that out?
Oh Wait...
It takes a rocket scientist, apparently.
Carson said, adding: “Where you going to send them?”
Send them back to their country of origin?? Is this really such a difficult concept? I realize this isn’t brain surgery, but come on..............

He’s been marked off my list for a while.
I have no problem with guest workers under the following conditions:
1. no US citizens are displaced from jobs
2. guest workers are strictly seasonal workers
3. guest workers and their families receive no government benefits
4. the progeny of guest workers are not given so-called “birthright” citizenship
5. guest workers receive no favor with respect to obtaining legal status
It’s my understanding we have this now. The problem is where any of the above provisions are relaxed as is inevitable when progressives inject themselves in the process.
“Toast” ....
