Russian forces have moved new personnel, planes and equipment into Syria in recent days, raising concerns that Moscow is moving to establish a new military base to aid embattled President Bashar al-Assad, US military officials said on Tuesday.
While Russia has long had a military presence in Syria, US military officials expressed increasing worry that the latest influx of support from Moscow is an effort to step up its support for the Syrian leader.

"What's the true objective here?" said a second US military official. "Is the true objective to keep Assad in power, or to put in another crony? Are they looking to supply more munitions, arms and hardware for Syria, Hezbollah and [Iran's] Quds Force? I don't know."

The war in Syria needs to end quickly. It seems the only ones fighting Assad are Jihadists. Only McCain, Kerry, and Obama will cry if the Russians crush them. It’ll set up a great base for Gog and Magog to attack Israel.
The Saudis are on the side of evil on this, along with US leaders. And I wonder where Israel is on this. Do they want to disintegrate ISIS outside of Israel’s borders or just stop the chaos from spreading to within their borders?

No base is required to attack Israel (Israel is only about 8,000 square miles). About the only reason Israel still exists now is that they have enough nukes and missiles to vaporize a large portion of the Middle East. They can even reach Moscow.
The Obama Administration has been interfering in Syria’s internal civil war for years now, I don’t see how they have any room to whine about another country getting involved at this point.

At one time they supported Assad, since he understood taking on the Israel was not in his best interest...and he had a backdoor relationship diplomatically...

His mentors are winning. He really doesn’t have anything to do with the grand scale of this agenda. Doesn’t have the mind for it. Others come up with the plan and he just gives approval.
