Donald Trump is coming to Washington with a message for Congress and the American people: Stop the nuclear deal with Iran.

And he will be joined by a star-studded galaxy of conservative leaders.

Appearing with the leading Republican presidential contender will be fellow candidate Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, former Gov. If you like your centrifuges, you can keep your centrifuges.

Unfortunately that is one promise Mr Obama will be keeping.

Star studded cast.

I guess they got Beck there to say the prayer then a quick flight back to Dallas hopefully.

Otherwise he may breakdown and start crying and we do not need a Boehner on our hands.

This rally is Trump’s idea? I thought Cruz initiated it and invited Trump (along with others) to join him. Sigh. I hope our man Cruz isn’t going to get his lunch money taken away . . . .

I am still at a loss as to what is to be gained by this rally. Cruz and 98 other senators voted to green light Obama's agreement with only 34 votes! Now Cruz wants to object to the results?! What if Trump points out that 99 members of the Senate approved letting 34 members approve this Iran deal? Oops, bye, bye Cruz.

I'd love to hear a meaningful discussion of why Cruz made this vote and how he reconciles it with the reality of the results. And without a 'definition of is' answer. Anyone?

I have had Cruz defenders here defend it on the grounds that Obama would have just acted on his own, so this is better.

A bogus GOPe argument IMO. The move was all too much in line with Cruz’s bogus defense of TPP/TPA.

Beck has been attacking Trump, so I suspect this is “inside the tent pissing out” stuff.

I don’t care for Beck. He dislikes Trump for no logical reason at all. Probably jealous. I think Beck has mental health issues

The Iran “deal” can’t be stopped, the Senate abdicated its reponsibility under the Constitution 99-1, Only Tom Cotton voted against

Exactly! This is the proof that Jeb's natural inclinations are liberal.

Liberal thinking requires that surface intent rules, and down-stream consequences aren't even thought of, don't matter if they are thought of.

You got that right. All of this smells to high heaven of the GOPe.

His defenders say Cruz voted for the Iran deal b/c that was better than Obama acting on his own. The Cruz Iran vote was also in line with his bogus defense of Obama's TPP/TPA.

....and remember the argument made at the time of the TPA vote.....it gave Boobamba fast-track authority on TPP. The text of which was so classified, not even members of Congress were allowed to read it.....

Obama calls the TPP deal "central" to his second-term legacy, as well as to his "foreign policy" and "economic" agendas.

Trump asserts US trade deals are ruining our nation...says its NOT stupidity....Trump says pols have been bribed. Trump doesn't know how right he really is. Read on.

NOW ISN'T THIS INTERESTING? few, if any, of the RCEP and TPP countries contributed to the buck-raking Clinton Foundation.

Looks like the Clintons and Obama divvied up the globe so that each have their own countries in order to collect big buck get-rich-quick foundation donations, honorarium, cosultancies, and int'l insider business deals.

======================================

THE FACTS ARE THESE Obama's trade deal giveaway is a huge scam...best examined against the backdrop of Obama's two tax-exempt foundations (two-that we know of).

Obama's priming the pump for donations to his two Foundations. All of it--- TPA and TPP--Obama's immigration suck-ups---his non-action WRT ISIS, IRAN--- are best understood against the backdrop of Obama's future plans as an ex- president----more specifically, his two get-rich-quick Foundations (two foundations that we know of).

The aforementioned entities control billions of dollars---and Obama is lying- in-wait for his share.

===================================================

WIKI REFERENCE: Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is a proposed free trade agreement (FTA) between the ten member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) (Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and the six states with which ASEAN has existing FTAs (Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand). RCEP negotiations were formally launched in November 2012 at the ASEAN Summit in Cambodia.

Americans....across the country....turn out in massive numbers tomorrow in Washington, DC. The future survival of our country is at stake. Obama is with the enemy, not the USA!!! His plan is to destroy the country by upsetting the entire world, destroying the legal police activity in the USA and supporting the negative, hateful, causes of all people that hate the USA, promote Black racism, and wants us totally destroyed forever!!! Wake up, folks, the death clock keeps moving at the fast pace Obama so desires!!! Show up, in DC, tomorrow!!! Go Donald Trump, Go Ted Cruz, Go Ben Carson, Go Carly Fiorina!!!

Yep, that’s why the Koch bros., IIRC, named Cruz as one of the five candidates they planned to support this round.

In case of a base-rebellion emergency, they have a “firebrand” GOPe property in line as an acceptable-to-them candidate.

They didn’t plan on Trump upsetting their carefully staged charade.

That means a bill blocking the deal would need two-thirds of both the Senate and the House to override a presidential veto. And, opponents of the deal, although in the clear majority, do not have that many votes.

Now that Obama has over 34 votes to keep a veto from being overridden then how much trouble will it be for him to round up the necessary number of Democrats to uphold a filibuster and keep it from reaching his desk in the first place?
