Just spent a week in Washington state. A very peculiar state, with the most indifferent, obtuse, dispirited people I have met in a very long time.

Watched my Texas Rangers game Monday when they were playing Seattle. ....The camera sometimes pans the stands looking for Ranger fans, but I also saw a lot of Mariner fans that were more interested in texting, eating or drinking than they were in what was going on during the game on the field. Very little excitement shown by Mariner fans, so your term ‘indifferent’ fits.
Doesn’t Wash State have any rivers?

I grew up in Tacoma and we try notto be like Seattle but there are always those who suffer from weirdness envy I guess.
