Anti-Iran Deal Rally in DC (features Palin, Trump, and Cruz)
Breitbart ^ | 6 Sep 2015 | Kevin Scholla

Posted on 09/07/2015 9:06:22 AM PDT by Jim W N

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin announced that she will appear at a rally in Washington this week protesting the U.S. nuclear agreement with Iran.

Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) will join Palin at the event along with several politicians, broadcasters, and other leaders concerned about a deal that President Obama has secured enough support for in the Senate to stop the GOP from blocking it. “We walked away from the draft of that treaty giving a win to Iran, our sworn enemy,” said Palin. “Iran, who immediately after the deal was struck, started mocking us and poking us and saying yes, of course we’re going to violate it. Thanks for freeing up $150 billion, America, too.”

Palin exclusively told Breitbart News what the heck are we even doing “negotiating” with an evil regime hellbent on destruction? The whole premise of this thing is wrong. Our sworn enemy proclaiming, “Allah Akbar, death to America and death to Israel” still holds American hostages, boasts of using the $150 billion dollars we just freed up for them for nefarious uses, and laughs all the way to the banks of the Persian Gulf and beyond.

Washington will hear the voices of “We The People” unified against this insanity. I look forward to joining Mr. Trump, Sen. Cruz, Mark Levin and other fed up patriots to rally the troops for America.

The Stop the Iran Deal Rally featuring Palin, Trump, and Cruz will be held at the Capitol on September 9. The rally, organized by the Tea Party Patriots, Center for Security Policy, and Zionist Organization of America, takes place a day after lawmakers return from their recess and ahead of a huge, historic, and potentially disastrous vote on the nuclear deal.

To his credit, Trump honors contracts, rightly sees a treaty as a contract (which is a mutual agreement), and says he will not simply breach the treaty because it is a bad deal, but if it is confirmed by the Senate he will look for holes in it.

Well, Mr. Trump, there appears to be a big gaping hole in this treaty. There is such a thing as contracts that are void, of no effect, and unenforceable. A contract in which the performance would break the law is such a contract. The U.S. Constitution and laws forbid treason as illegal. The U.S. Constitution defines treason as including "adhering to [U.S.] enemies, giving them aid and comfort." (Art III, Sec 3, Cl 1). This treaty appears to require illegality becasue it looks to be an agreement whereby the U.S. is adhering to and aiding Iran, an avowed enemy of the U.S. in its nuclear development.

Note to Trump: A treaty that requires treason to perform is illegal and void. You have no duty, nor should you, enforce such a treaty because it amounts to an unenforceable contract. It would be rather your duty as President to declare such treaty void and of no effect.

This is NOT a treaty. It is an agreement between the parties. Its validity expires with either party’s authority to make it. The problem is the 150 billion bucks it releases into the terrorist coffers. That is Obama’s legacy and his payout to his Muslim PARTNERS! I wonder if it is a “Contract” at all? What was the ‘consideration’ received by the USA? If they had returned the prisoners as a part of the deal, I could say yes but I don’t see the USA receiving anything of value in return.
Anybody see value?

Marc Levin and Glen Beck will also be there.

We should be less concerned with Trump’s response and more concerned with Mitch McConnell’s capitulation.

All he has to do is invoke the Senate “nuclear option”, and kill the “agreement” with a simple majority.

He can undo the “Corker Amendment”.

Thank you. I don't know WHY the obvious continually has to be stated on FR, but it does.

The same is true whether an executive agreement or a treaty. Whether it is an executive agreement or a treaty, it requires illegality to perform and should, therefore, be utterly rejected. If the Senate does not reject it, Mr. Trump, our next President apparent, must declare it void and of no effect.

I trust Mitch McConnell as far as I can throw him.

And if the Senate does not reject it, Mr. Trump, our next President apparent, must declare it void and of no effect.

McConnell is a traitor, a liar, a scammer, a fraud and a thief.

He (McConnell) can declare that the “agreement” is really a treaty, which it is. Once the Senate says the deal is a treaty it will require 2/3 of the Senate for approval.

Next president, is too late. In fact it is already to late to undo the damage this “deal” has done. The 150 billion is not coming back and the international scansions will not be put back in place. Iran wins, US and Israel lose.

Well, I think in a year and a half, the U.S. could do a lot to undo this treasonous agreement including reestablishing support for Israel and her defenses, mega sanctions, stealth sabotage, and surgical strikes if necessary.

Glen Beck and Trump on the stage together? I thought Beck Hated Trump? Trump might be able to use some legal trick to turn this deal on its ear. He might be able to do it.

Not a very high bar, but yes, I realize that.
