Emergency responders treated multiple people for stabbing wounds in Thursday night in what police say was a machete attack.
Eyewitnesses said they were driving down the road when people ran out of the forest and into the road.

Don't know about the rest of you but I am sick and tired of all this machete violence. When are we going to institute intergalactic background checks to prevent criminals and crazy people from obtaining these assault cleavers. They only belong on the battle fields for use by Hutus and Tutsis. How do gang bangers like MS-13 get these damn things? Cutlery show loophole?

Police arrested Kyle Pettey, a homeless man suspected of attacking two people with a machete Thursday night, according to a preliminary police report sent to 40/29 News Friday morning.
Pettey attacked the victims after they told Pettey he had to move his camp, according to the report.
