The comment below that was even more disturbing, about without police we would have no chance against criminal low-lives. I had to live in the hood (all I could afford) during college and grad school, and had to fend for myself against Obama's chillen a good number of times, once three on one with two armed. Score to date is 9-0, with five KOs and two permenantly crippled, so I have a slightly different perspective. My greatest fear is the cops arresting me for defending myself from thugs, especially if I kill one. I live in paradise now (middle of rural America, my own farmette), so I don't worry about it now, but there aren't any cops out here, so if there ever is trouble I have to fend for myself. I wouldn't have it any other way.
