Hold your ground. Pick you "vulgarian" candidate and stick with him. Don't listen to the establishment when they tell you that a conservative cannot be elected. Remember what their strategy is and fight it!

Dear Reince Priebus,

I swear and affirm that should Jeb Bush become the GOP nominee for President, I will sit home and will not come within 500 feet of any polling place on Election Day.

Sincerely,

I don’t believe this stuff. You can’t claim that the “GOPe” is a bunch of incompetent, bumbling fools in one breath, then claim that they are masters of cunning and deceit in another. That’s cognitive dissonance.

Nah, vote Constitutional Party or whatever your state has.

Ah, come on, you have to go in and vote for the conservatives down ticket that day. Just don't check a name for the POTUS slot.

How do you think we ended up with McCain in 2008, especially after his campaign had all but collapsed & run out of money early in the process? Suddenly he was the last man standing, and no one could figure out why.

Try telling him you will write in Ted Cruz’s name.

If the rePUBlicans run Christie I might even vote Democrat. Christie paid $175,000 on an attack add against Tom Tancredo in his run for Governor of Colorado. People were so disgusted they voted for anyone but Goopy candidate. It is time for the candidates to listen to those that elect them before and after the elections.

I have already made that pledge, except I will write-in or vote Constitutional Party.

Same here. Constitution Party.

No vote for Jeb from me.

No vote from me for any Bush ever again.

And an art form here on FR, with purists declaring they won’t support any candidate but their own.

I’m serious. 10 or 20 thousand letters taking this pledge and they’ll seriously have to rethink this.

It’s done us no good to support the GOP picks. They are all losers.

The above referenced article doesn’t portray the GOPe as ‘a bunch of incompetent, bumbling fools’. Far from it. They know exactly what they are doing. Trump has disrupted their plans for the moment and they are scrambling. Their ultimate goal is to isolate and marginalize the ‘conservative’ wing of the red party. You may occasionally elect a ‘conservative champion’ but the party’s goal is to render them ineffective. Let them talk and carry on but neuter them in terms of actual. meaningful legislation.

Most of the time, people say the GOPe is incompetent as a way of being nice. You only have to look at the open primaries etc. to know that they are utterly corrupt.

LOL! You’ve got the “splitter” strategy backward. Think 2008, when John McCain’s personal friend, Fred Thompson stole all the conservative oxygen from the air. Or 2012, when Ron Paul savaged the somewhat more conservative Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum while letting the socialist Romney skate.

This parade of ass-hats you mention aren’t going to steal any conservative votes!
