I am NOT drinking the TRUMP Kool Aid today. Wiser men told me many years ago that you HAVE to look at the TRACK record, and not what a person SAYS. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Just ask youselves what LIFE was like with Trump with his first wives. We need a UNIFIER, and not a bully making twitter statements that offend. Ben Carson is the only one.
For me, I am looking at Trump, Cruz, and Carson very close.
But the most important thing is NO MORE DEMS in the White House in 2016!
I disagree about Carson. Being a non-political outsider, the only way he could govern effectively is to make those around him dance to his tune. I have not seen that aspect of him.
His past flubs with 2nd amendment and mandatory vaccines also bother me.
Finally, one can enjoy the spectacle of Trump the man making the GOPe worms squirm without going all-in for Trump the candidate. Conservatives were railroaded into support for McCain and Romney in the last 2 elections. Third-parties, behind the scenes, were pulling the strings.
At least this time, it appears that the candidate himself is driving the bus. We’ll see if it goes out of control or not.
And, no, I do not consider myself a Trump supporter. An amused watcher? Absolutely!
Seems to me I read a couple of Carson Op Eds posted here from Townhall I think about a year, year and a half ago.
They certainly read as “unifier”. The kind of unifier that said “go along, get along” and that you have to vote for the second-most evil candidate and the GOP establishment.
I remember as getting pretty irate about it. I’ll not be voting for him under any circumstance.
Where is Carson on immigration? That is THE critical issue of this election - read Ann Coulter’s “Adios America” and you will understand with great clarity why this is the case.
We lose on this issue, and the country as we have known it is finished, forever. The entire country will become like California - politically and economically. You want that, vote for the nice guy. I used to believe that we just had to find the right (i.e. perfect) GOP candidate, and we’d win with sheer reason. Nope, there ain’t no such animal. I’ve come to understand that General Patton was right when he said:
“The perfect is the enemy of the good.”
Right now we need someone who is not beholden to big corporate interests (corps want cheap labor, and don’t care if the middle class has a decent life or a future), who loves the country and culture that made his life good, and who is not afraid to fight for it. Business as usual will bring in results as usual - and since the Republicans are always worried about being loved (an impossible goal) and the Dems are worried ONLY about winning - then the result will be that we lose and wind up with a permanent Dem majority. Yeah, that’d be a great result from the conservative perspective - NOT!
His wives? Why don’t you ask them? Reports are that they think he is great and in fact will make a fantastic President.
What other rumblings of untruths would you like to bring forward next to get shot down?
I don’t want to unify anything. Too many left wing idiots that will never go along no matter what the voters say.
I want bold lines drawn.
“Ben Carson is the only one”
-—You don’t like Carson anymore than you like Trump. Carson is being used as a wedge candidate by the media, Liberal, and RNC to increase the splitter vote against Trump. I highly doubt you are RNC, or media, so...
AWWWWW...did him's twitter tweets offend your wittle feewings?
