The White House conceded Friday that new gun regulations probably wouldnt have prevented the gunman who murdered two television journalists in southwestern Virginia this week.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest said it appears that a proposal championed by President Obama to require background checks on purchases at gun shows would not have applied in this particular case.

Earnest: Grabbing guns ... would not prevent all gun violence ... would not have prevented this crime ... but would prevent other shooting deaths around the country every day!
And dealing with insane gay black men acting out hits just a little too close to home for any comment from any spox.
Even if the lunatic in question had no firearm — that just means the world would have been subjected to video of the reporter being slashed or hacked to death.
Flanagan was gay? I hadn’t heard that. No wonder the media are so uncritical of him—he belonged to so many protected classes.
Why is the story even about guns? You have a crazy lunatic who, egged on by the relentless media message that America oppresses blacks and gays, believed that he was horribly aggrieved to the point where he killed his co-workers. He could have killed that lady with a knife. Or an illegal gun. The issue is lunatics who are told over and over again that the Man is oppressing them.
BLACK-GAY on the D/L MATTERS!!!
Always to first jump in and politicize a tragedy.

Straight jackets and rubber rooms would have.
What you also don't hear about is that Flanagan wrote that he was persecuted by OTHER black men for being gay! When reporting the story, that tidbit is dropped from the narrative.
Politicians aren’t concerned about ‘the little people’.
They’re using these incidents to push for their real agenda.
They are afraid of the populace rising up against themselves.
Nailed that one.

re “Flanagan was gay? I hadnt heard that. No wonder the media are so uncritical of himhe belonged to so many protected classes.”
Not only GAY, but boasted being a male escort; having gay escort websites on his machine, as well!!
