So correct - the guy remained in the area for like 2 years long after he was fired with no known friends or relatives nearby, had an apartment at near point-blank range to the TV station where he could conveniently keep them under surveillance at will. The guy was hung up on a vendetta, he was gonna have his pound of flesh one way or another. And yes, they are very fortunate he didn't ram a truck bomb into the studio, then there would have been a mass casualty event. So all the gun complainers shut up and sit down, things could have been worse, much worse, it's very fortunate he didn't have the skillsets to commit worse.
