Again on display we have the low information voters fawning over Trump. These voters can’t think past the headlines. Have any of them put any thought into Trump’s immigration plan? I don’t think so.

Trump claims that he is going to deport all of the illegal aliens. Each illegal alien is required to have a hearing and an appeal before being deported. The most people we have ever deported in a year has been 250,000 people. If no one else came across the boarder it would take 44 years to deport all the illegal aliens that are in the country at this time.

Part of Trump’s immigration plan is that he will deport all of the illegal aliens, but the good ones will be let back in (”There are many wonderful people and I would expedite bringing them back in the country”). How many of them meet Trump’s wonderful index? This part of his plan sounds an awful lot like amnesty to me. Rubio gets flamed for backing amnesty, but if Donald purposes amnesty its OK to the Trump low information voter. If Trump says it, it must be great.

If the choices are “low information voter” and “surrender monkey presenting his posterior to the GOPe for penetration”, my vote will have to remain “Duh?” ;)

Yeah. Right. I’m a low information voter. LOL

I’ve never even SEEN you on this forum before, despite your 2001 sign-up. I’m a daily and very active participant here, and have written dozens of original editorials that I post first to FR.

To your ‘Establishment Republican’ talking point: Trump has a plan and a vision. The two items are distinct. The ‘vision’ is to send all illegals home. The ‘plan’ is to start enforcing the law and reducing the draw for illegals. The ‘vision’ is the goal, the ‘plan’ is the change in direction.

Everyone knows that it will take time and patience to send illegals back, but every journey starts with the first step.

So YES, Mister Arrogant Establishment Republican Liberal, We HAVE put thought into Trumps plan. And unlike yours, it WILL help America. So you can blow your arrogance out your.....nose.

“Again on display we have the low information voters fawning over Trump.”

Laz has more patience than I.

The above statement confirms you are ignorant at best. You’re opinion isn’t worth spit.

Any boob with an IQ above 75 ( not you ) knows that laws are punitive in nature and are designed to be a deterrent to crime. So you put 1 million thru the entire deportation processes ( a process that can be shortened thru EO BTW) then the other 20 million will get the message and go home ON THEIR OWN.

The IRS only audits a tiny fraction of the returns but they deter most tax fraud OUT OF FEAR.

If Trump can only get a wall built, I’ll be content. I’m pretty sure he’ll get that much done.

No you are the low info unlikely voter. My guess you don’t vote if the lawn needs to be mowed. If you want to disagree with Trump’s intent to get rid of as many illegals as possible then vote for Jeb who I assume is your candidate. He has no intention of getting rid of any of them.

Trump is smart enough to know that all you really have to do is make a few good shows of kicking people out and announce you are going to do it and most of them will pack up and leave on their own. No court date required.

"The most people we have ever deported in a year has been 250,000 people."

Care to flesh that claim out a bit ? Got a link to a source ?

I know that's what Jeb's cheerleaders are repeating, but I sure can't find anything that supports the claim.

Another issue Trump is right on; they would self deport with their American born children....

Arrest the illegal parents and put them in a detention center. The process to contest takes two years. Give them the option to have their anchor children to join them in the detention center or they go to foster care.

Then they face a choice, they can spend the next two years in detention watching their case proceed through the legal system where they will lose or accept a immediate bus ride back to Mexico. If they choose to fight extradition and lose, they can never return. If they take the bus back with their family, we would consider a expedited return based on need.

How many would stay in detention? My guess is more than 90% would be on the bus...

BTW...this is perfectly legal under current law....this would reduce cost and help keep the cases out of the courts.

Strict labor enforcement would keep them out of the workforce...not legal..no job...The only income they would have is welfare payments from their anchor babies...which runs the US Taxpayer approx. $72K/year per family (number includes administrative cost)

No money...no jobs...strict deportation enforcement....a lot will self deport....There is precedent during the 1950’s when a similar program was run....

Sooo..lets address the first paragraph of your post. Trump supporter=low information voter....people that haven’t thought things through...So please O’-great-one-of-enlightenment, what is your proposal?

I wish people wouldn’t bandy silly-putty, infinitely morphable jargon around. It makes the persons doing it look ignorant.

Self deportation has and will work. You are being a traitor to your fellow citizens by avoiding the obvious truth about the illegal invasion.

Operation Wetbacks, 1954, President Eisenhower.

Beginning in June, 1954 operation wetbacks began rounding up illegal aliens.
By September, 1954 80,000 illegals had been detained in the state of Texas.
Roughly 500-700,000 illegals left on their own.

The INS did the job with only 1,075 agents, supported by local law enforcement.

In 1954 over 1,000,000 illegals were apprehended and deported or self deported in the state of Texas alone.
