I go out of my way to use the word Christmas,' Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told an Alabama radio host, seemingly in an attempt to capture the crowd of voters that, like Bill OReilly and Fox & Friends, think the word Christmas is under assault.
Theres an assault on anything having to do with Christianity, Trump told Yellowhammer Radio host Cliff Sims on Friday. They dont want to use the word Christmas anymore at department stores . Theres always lawsuits and unfortunately a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side.
As president, Trump vowed, I will fight that. I will go so strongly against so many of the things, when they take away the word Christmas.

Unfortunately I don’t know that he would. He said that same sex marriage was basically a dead issue in a recent interview.
One can hope that he does, and it’s great that he says this. But I don’t think social issues are a real concern or priority for him as a whole.
Which again is why I’ll continue to buy stock in Cruz until it goes bust myself.
RE: He said that same sex marriage was basically a dead issue in a recent interview.
In light of the fact that same-sex marriage was IMPOSED on the country by 5 people in black robes, Did anybody ask Trump what his criteria is for appointing a judge or justice of the court?
I think regarding sam sex marriage, he said it’s a law now. Not so much that social issues aren’t a concern but that you can’t easily change current laws. And I do think you are right in that is real priority right now is immigration and the economy. Things that he can do something about.
Until I start to see average Americans demographically represented in the media in the numbers and proportion that they are in society, instead of mostly minorities with an agenda, I say screw the racist MSM and the horse they rode in on.
It looks like I have a keyboard going out, I guess I better start previewing.
This is what Trump said to that bastion of journalism The Hollywood Reporter.
Asked whether same-sex marriage was a “dead issue,” Trump told the magazine, “Some people have hopes of passing amendments, but it’s not going to happen. Congress can’t pass simple things, let alone that. So anybody that’s making that an issue is doing it for political reasons. The Supreme Court ruled on it.”
Other presidential candidates in the crowded Republican field have called for a constitutional amendment to overturn the June Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage in the United States. Former Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, Senator Ted Cruz, and former Senator Rick Santorum have all announced support for the proposed amendment.
Trump also mentioned that he attended Broadway theater owner Jordan Roth’s marriage to his husband, Richie Jackson, in 2012.
I don’t know if he’s commented on Supreme Court justice appointees. You are basically correct Duchess as to what he said. There’s some logic to it, but there’s also the John Kasich attitude to it in my book- “Oh it’s the law of the land, can’t do anything.” I know he didn’t say those precise words, but I think that is the attitude.
RE: they would be the “right kind of people”
Heck, Hillary or Sanders could say the same thing.
Maybe a more specific question would be -— of the 9 Justices in the Supreme Court, whose constitutional views most closely mirrors yours?
Always.
I do too, Donald.
...or stupid.
Barkley not completely ready to venture far from the plantation.
I did hear him say in one interview that he would nominate staunch conservatives for SC.
I agree. Why do you think obama filled the judicial benches with left-wing judges? I think he knew this was going to pass - as did most of us. This way - it ensures that anyone trying to fight this ungodly law in the courts will lose. That’s why Harry Reid pulled his stunt of only needing 51 Senators to nominate leftist judges and bench them. See how that works? But, one day - they will face the ultimate judge - and they will bow to His ruling.
