Wrong. This is ignoring 300,000 anchor babies naturalized EVERY year. Those 300,000 grow up to have many more naturalized babies.

Wrong, they are not naturalized. They are citizens at birth just like you and me. They are eligible for food stamps, Medicaid, housing assistance, etc. And when they get to be 18, they can vote. And they can run for Congress and President. They are citizens immediately upon popping out of the womb.

One out of every 10 children is born to an illegal alien.

Your stance should be around what you will drive toward. Walker doesn’t know what he wants to drive toward.

Walker is a waffler, at best. Most likely, he doesn’t want to lose the funding from the Chamber of Commerce types, so he brought back his prior words.

That shows severe weakness. I won’t expect to help Walker on his next election, and we did for the recall and prior election.

I don’t disagree with you.

Two things can be true at the same time. Walker is, I believe, correct that securing the borders of the nation stops cold the anchor babies phenomenon from Mexico and South America. STOPS COLD, should mean something to the argument, as it applies to ILLEGALS.

However, because it is equally true that we are being worked over by the Chinese in the very same manner, but who come into our country legally to bear babies as anchors for the future is another design of the same abuse.

As for Walker, it is possible that although he is competent and has even been cutting edge on conservative action in Wisconsin, that he is still wet behind the ears on national and international issues, exhibiting a need to buff up on his learning curve, lest he be seen as having a weak grasp on the monstrous and weighty issues of the United States of America.

Walker is on a learning curve and it has started to show.

Yeah, because it makes so much sense to vote for someone who won’t tell you where he stands on the issues—and it makes so much sense that anchor babies shouldn’t be addressed until the border is secured.

But his funders are all pro-amnesty and pro-open borders for cheap labor—which means we’d never even see the border secured in a Walker presidency.

How would Walker handle the 3 AM call?

Yes. And Senator Howard would have ommitted "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" from the amendment if he meant what the leftists and GOPE critters say it means now.

It's synonymous with the 1866 Civil Rights Act in the first sentence.

"That all persons born in the United States and not subject to any foreign power, excluding Indians not taxed, are hereby declared to be citizens of the United States; and such citizens, of every race and color, without regard to any previous condition of slavery or involuntary servitude, ..."

Congress went ahead to pass and send to the states for ratification of the 14th Amendment because they didn't want the 1866 Civil Rights Act to be easily overturned by future legislation.

"not subject to any foreign power" = "subject to the jurisdiction thereof"

If I had a dollar for every damned politician who LIED about “build the fence first” ... I’d be richer than Donald Trump (well, almost)

1. Stop the hemorrhaging by closing the border.
2. Change hearts and minds of the American public.
3. Correct any misperceptions in the 14th amendment with legislation.

Consensus by the public is just not there yet.

One other thing Intercept, the 1866 Civil Rights Act has never been overturned so it is still law.

Someone should tell the Dummies in the GOPE and moron media.

I’ve been saying to everybody - put a stop to all whys and ifs emotionality until the fence is built and the border is secure. Then we can talk about our feeeeelings. So in this case Walker is right. Security first, talk second. Not sure, however, that he’s not just wimping out, either! I mean, he IS a politician. I just wish every politician would get on this message: fence first, talk later. End all other discussions. Each side has done it to death.

Ok, I see your point. They are not naturalized. They are true citizens
because they were born here.

However, that needs to change.

But his funders are all pro-amnesty and pro-open borders for cheap labor—which means we’d never even see the border secured in a Walker presidency.

...which is why a self-funded, much less conservative candidate like Donald Trump may be the answer to the most important issue with regards to the survival of the republic. I have been willing to give Walker the benefit of the doubt hoping that his conservatism and his "protect the American worker" memes were real. Trust me, I'm wait and see with Walker. I've seen him make a couple mistakes and winced, but his Wisconsin record is hard to discount.

In other news, Hitlary! said she would not talk about what she would do about the Keystone pipeline, until she is in office as POTUS.

Walker refuses to get dragged into a non-productive pissing contest.

Very wise, very measured.
