Continuing to be incensed over the use of the term “anchor baby” by Republican presidential candidates Jeb Bush and Donald Trump, ABC News correspondent Tom Llamas took the airwaves on Thursday’s World News Tonight to scold Bush for “bombastic language” and replay his attack on Trump for using the “offensive term.”
After highlighting how Bush and Trump had dueling events in New Hampshire the night before, Llamas hyped that “both candidates today [are] facing questions about why they use the term ‘anchor babies’ to describe American born children of undocumented immigrants.”

See Immigrant means you applied for work papers ahead of time or a student visa (maybe hire lawyers) , and later if you want to be a real Immigrant, you have to file more papers and pay lawyers maybe. In other words:
Immigrant = Lots of documentation and expenditure and time invested in Doing It LEGALLY
Tom LLames, there is a big difference and Americans are insulted you can’t distinguish between the Right way and the Wrong way of Coming To America.
I think the use of the term correspondent is too positive. He is an employee of ABC News, is definitely not a journalist and not even a correspondent, but simply a propagandist. He doesn’t report the news, but propagandizes his and the Left’s political positions. In other words, he is a perfect representative of the current MSM.
Maybe we should start calling him “Jeb ‘Mister Boombastic’ Bush”.

wet backs was the term used when I was a young un....back in the 40-50’s. It is a descriptive term. No one was offended, but the left hadn’t thunk up all the bad words yet..
If the illegals are offended when their offspring are referred to as anchor babies, they’d really be offended if they were Americans whose babies are referred to as “tissue mass” that is “harvested”.
But he is an Anchor.

Operation Wetback was a 1954 border patrol action endorsed by the Eisenhower administration designed to control our southern border. Perhaps he should cover his ears with his hands and close his eyes and go “Na, na, na, na, na, na ...” while he interviews people so as to avoid being offended by any of their answers to their questions.
Better yet, just to be completely safe from being offended, he should just quit the biz all together.
