Just been informed by a friend attending the Shoreham Air Show in the United Kingdom that a Hawker Hunter has crashed, possibly onto the nearby main road. No chutes observed. No other details.
Info as follows: “Just watched a Hawker Hunter fail to pull out of a dive at Shoreham Airshow, slam into the deck and explode. Not sure if he hit the main road and took other people with him.”

Yes, 2 pilots in the Hawker Hunter trainer version picture that you posted. The combat aircraft was a single seater.

West Sussex Police said seven died and one patient with life-threatening injuries was taken to the hospital. A further 14 people were treated for minor injuries.
Too early to assign cause, but clearly not a stall. Under control, no wing rock or flutter, this means the pilot misjudged a) the top of his loop altitude (too low), b) sink rate, c)altitude to recover, or any combination thereof.
High speed stall. . .not sure what that means. Are you referring to an abrupt yank on the stick that results in disrupted airflow (stall)? It clearly was flying under control, no abrupt flight control input. . .it was a classic controlled light into ground.

The pilot began his maneuvers at too low an attitude.
It could be that his usual altitude was not sufficient because of humidity, and his engine may have had less power.
As the Brits say, he was boloxed all ‘round.
Fox News is reporting 7 dead on the highway.
