A 9-year-old girl was shot and killed Tuesday in Ferguson, Missouri, while she sat in bed doing her homework, her family says.
"I never in a million years thought that I'd be laying my daughter to rest," said James Bolden, 9-year-old Jamyla's father, KMOV reports.
Jamyla's 34-year-old mother was also shot in the leg, but she has since been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
As of Wednesday night, police had no suspect in the attack, though investigators believe that the shots were fired from close range into the home, which is one block from West Florissant Ave., the center for protests in Ferguson after Michael Brown's shooting death a year ago at the hands of Officer Darren Wilson....

Huge % of crime done by small % of criminals. A big % of those have a long record. It is criminal negligence allowing these people out in the street to keep committing mayhem.
If the gun grabbers were serious about gun crime, they would make sure there is a huge penalty on crime committed by guns (not self-defense), and they would ensure those laws are enforced. Instead, those same people who are viciously inflexible toward law abiding gun owners, are the ones who want to handle criminals with kid gloves. I guess they need them to continue to commit crimes to have the pretext they need to grab law abiding citizens’ guns!
Somehow, they’ll blame the cops.
Let’s be frank: what leftists call gun crime can more accurately be termed black crime.

BLM strikes again! By advocating for black criminals against everybody else, especially including law abiding black people, they’ve unleashed the vilest possible criminals against everybody else.
This reminds me of the sad story of the black woman in Chicago, a special education teacher, who was shot through the walls of a building and killed, the bullet meant for someone else outside. She was sitting in an office as some young thugs got into it with other gang members out on the street. You heard very little about this crime after the first few days.
Some black lives matter. Most do not, sadly.

These poor poor parents tried to do everything right, unless this hit was caused by some mess the parents were involved with- since the grandmother was afraid to even give her name ... what’s THAT about???!
I cannot even imagine the savagery of trying to live in and raise children in that culture, and yes, it is a dysfunctional separate culture
