Just what I want, a car I can’t put my dog in without killing it! Don’t even ask where the leather interiors come from.

Interesting. Buicks seem to be more popular in the PR of China based on trips I’ve taken there over the last decade or so.

Loved my LeSabre. If I could get a new one I would buy it in a New York minute.

Maybe we could add even more costly EPA/Gov regs to Manufacturing? Do you think that would keep the jobs in America?

We had a ‘61 LeSaber wagon when we came back from overseas assignment. This white beast had the 401 Nailhead and a seemingly endlessly mushing automatic transmission.

The political, business and financial elites that helped create USA government policy that outsources our jobs and economy to China etc are traitors to America just as surely as were the Commie Rosenbergs that gave our nuke secrets to Soviets.

Interesting. Buicks seem to be more popular in the PR of China based on trips Ive taken there over the last decade or so. The last Chinese Emperor's personal car was a Buick, so it is seen as a status symbol in China. GM almost killed the make before getting a clue.
To: mathprof
Well, they are better than Chevies and not as showy or expensive as Caddies. It’s a status symbol there. Had relations with Russia gone better (and the corruption in Russia stated at reasonable levels) after the breakup of the USSR, wealthy Russians were clamoring for US goods and we could have set up shop there. Now they generally buy European stuff.
