You can’t imagine how stubborn he is.

He was a pro motorcycle drag racer in FL, long before I met him and he crashed doing 143mph.

He was still doing 130mph as *he* slid past the timer, without his bike.

Wearing polyester pants.

He did have a helmet on, at least.

I nag him and don’t care if he gets mad.

:)

“That’s pretty desolate alright.”

And we LIKE it.

:D

Ha. Cop slowed me down about 5 mph a couple weeks ago - small car - my radar detector caught him about a mile up the road - so I kept it 5mph below posted speed limit.

Anyways, yakking on cell phone - (UH OH!!) - when something catches my eye to the left - it was an 8 or 10 point buck - just passed in front of my small import - I was going 40.

I think the cop did me a favor - I missed the deer by about 4-6 feet. That extra 5 mph over the previous 1/2 mile or mile (don’t remember where I slowed down) may have made all the difference.

Wow!

I have stuff like that all the time.

I ‘forget something’ and piddle around before leaving, only to come upon an accident that *just* happened.

I’ve missed I don’t know how many by mere minutes, sometimes seconds.

The other night, I thought Himself was flashing his bike lights for me to stop so I did, but he had not been flashing them.

So I pull back onto the road and not 20 seconds later, somebody’s little Jack Russell, standing in the middle of the road, ran across in front of me.

I hit the brakes and hubby and the car behind, which was hauling arse so fast I hadn’t even noticed it back there, had to stop, too.

If I hadn’t “mistaken” the flashing lights things, I’d bet that little dog would have been hit.

And deer?

Yikes.

I could tell deer stories all night.

Every time I leave the house, I say a long prayer for our safe return.

I’ve narrowly missed cars suddenly pulling out several times this year.

God rides with me, thank Him.

:)

Yeah, I’ll FReepmail you one tomorrow - where I specifically mentioned God’s Name - and misinterpreted it, for about a month.

It was kinda stunning - well to me, anyways.

Highways are for cars and for cars that are getting people to point B

We should all drive defensively and have a little caution to our mannerism ... but the fact is ... a breakdown ANYwhere near where cars whiz by is a dangerous thing

It's always sad when an angel is taken from us

Sometimes i will get in my car to retrieve a document or do something that does not involve actual driving, and I always instinctively put on my seatbelt.

I feel nekkid without it.

Well then he is well aware of what can happen.
All I can advise is make sure his insurance is up to date and wish you both the very best of luck.
From your description, and your page I’d say he is already quite blessed.
