I watched that interview and thought that it was very fair and the that Trump did well.
Trump hates the media too, but has to use it to get his message out. If he gets elected, just wait until he takes them by the horns and wrestles them to the ground.
Some good, some bad. The immigration plan Trump just put out is great, but don’t think he was particularly good in this interview.
He doesn’t care one way or the other if Ukraine is in NATO? Doesn’t care? If Ukraine joined NATO we would almost be forced to war with Russia. On the other hand, doing nothing lets Russia dismantle Ukraine piece by piece. Gonna need a better position than “I don’t care either way”.
Trump’s for affirmative action apparently. I can see not taking on every issue at once, but affirmative action? It’s time for that to go away.
Trump is apparently for EDNA, or at least not opposed to it. This loathsome piece of legislation would not even allow traditional, religious company owners from parting ways with gays and lesbians in their workplace - opening them up to all manner of lawsuits.
The idea that the Mexican government is so smart has always been pretty silly. Much as I dislike Todd, Trump didn’t have much of a response when the facts were pointed out that Mexico is a basket case and pretty much entirely devoid of these “smart leaders” of which he speaks.
And it’s getting pretty tiresome hearing from Trump about how great he is, how great his companies are, how great a businessman he is, how great a deal maker he is, how great this, how great that, etc, etc. Geez, have a little humility. This stuff just gets old.
Still, he did put out quite possibly the best immigration plan I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. I’ll give him that.

I love the Trump show.
Some have likened him to P. T. Barnum. Barnum believed in decency at heart (he believed on Christ as Savior), though not everyone who worked for him took that view, whether sour grapes or other reasons.
If it takes a good ole rassling down to make his point, Trump will do it.
Let’s not kid ourselves that Trump is a second coming of Christ, he is not. Trump is Trump, in a particular circumstance that has propelled him skyward. But he does appear to bring action overall in the good direction.

I rhink Trump means smart as being conniving or con men. Not in IQ. And, that is true.
Yeah...and Trump put him straight on Mexico...devaluing the Peso and sucking US jobs and money.

Sounds like wishful thinking on your part.Obviously you aren’t StarStruck by Trump...and a point either way is not a movement in the polls. What’s their accuracy, +/- 3 or 4 percent or so...Jeb and a few others would have liked to see their poll numbers in their with Trump’s. Only Carson and Cruz have been showing any consistent strengthening in poll numbers but not at Trump’s expense.
He said that about Ukraine and NATO. That seems to say to me, let Ukraine decide. And he may have some advice to offer them for their self protection if they don’t want to go that route.
Trump is pretty good at helping others help themselves, so to speak.

How would Trump “get rid of” affirmative action or EDNA? And this is a serious question, how would he be able to do it.

I had to stop watching the interview but it wasn’t because of Trump. Todd was just hard to look at and listen too.
