Number of Hillary Clinton’s emails flagged for classified data grows to 60 as review continues
The Washington Times ^ | August 16, 2015 | By John Solomon

While media coverage has focused on a half-dozen of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s personal emails containing sensitive intelligence, the total number of her private emails identified by an ongoing State Department review as having contained classified data has ballooned to 60, officials told The Washington Times.

That figure is current through the end of July and is likely to grow as officials wade through a total of 30,000 work-related emails that passed through her personal email server, officials said. The process is expected to take months.

The 60 emails are among those that have been reviewed and cleared for release under the Freedom of Information Act as part of a open-records lawsuit. Some of the emails have multiple redactions for classified information.

Among the first 60 flagged emails, nearly all contained classified secrets at the lowest level of “confidential” and one contained information at the intermediate level of “secret,” officials told the Times.

Nothing’s by chance these days. Since Hillary is BFFs with Obama and they’re both afraid of a Republican Administration, my guess is that they’re getting this out of the way now.

Obama will come out and say she did it for her country and pardon her.

"Obama will come out and say she did it for her country and pardon her"

I suspect Obama will pardon her and her accomplices.

But in the intervening period her political career will be completely destroyed and all of her accomplices will never work for the government or government contract for the rest of their lives.

The pardon will just be the final nail in the coffin.

Why would it take months to go through the emails? It makes it sound like the FBI has some part timer assigned to this that only comes in on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Assign a task force to this and let's get it done.

The number of classified emails that went through that server in four years likely numbered in the thousands. A significant portion of the traffic to and from a Secretary of State would have carried some level of classification. It’s unreal that she is pretending otherwise and that the media didn’t call her on it from the outset. Well, scratch that last part.

Kerry wants to run. Kerry is in charge of the State Department. There may be something very interesting coming out this Fall.

Will British lady journalists continue to write gushing “best speech...confident...smiling...pizazz with hair” all-republicans-are-alike columns when she’s questioned in orange pant suits?

How about one year in prison for each exposed classified document? Sounds about right.

O was pushed into the corner by the Democratic Party in 2008. He had to accept her on the team in some position, because the Party felt he could not win without Bill’s participation in the election. I’ve seen several news media folks make the comment after the win that Bill probably got them five-percent more votes in the end.

The same feeling occurred in 2012....where they had to bring Bill one more time.

O and his staff are letting her fall freely now and he won’t pick her up. By October/November, some kind of deal will be worked out where charges will be brought against three or four under her, and she’ll walk free. Whoever came up with this idea of the Foundation server and it’s mechanism of working....might walk free if they didn’t cut and paste classified into messages....that’s the weird thing about this deal.

I also noted the term ‘confidential’ classified being used, which usually means travel information (dates, hotel, etc). Once you get to the top levels of any cabinet post....all your travels are classified. All of the permanent staff of the State Department would tell you that. I doubt if she or her handlers wanted to listen to them. So now....some will pay.

Special Prosecutor tomorrow? Can someone list how many laws broken? Felonies? How many State Department protocols ignored? Special Select Committee in the House? Trey Gowdy? Committee in the Senate led by Ted Cruz?

"A significant portion of the traffic to and from a Secretary of State would have carried some level of classification."

One thing I learned in extensive security training for military comms, often the accumulated information of multiple pieces of classified information is of a higher overall classification than even the highest level piece.

The greatest of all possible breaches was the compromise of a Top Secret encryption key.

And Clinton brought up a Top Secret communications line with no encryption and no Firewall.

As Secretary of State.

The White House is equally culpable here. They allowed it and they knew it.

"How about one year in prison for each exposed classified document? "

The relevant Statutes say 10 years per occurrence.

I think the process will speed up considerably now that they have digital copies & can search with key words, etc.& they also now have metadata. Before the FBI got the thumb drives from Kendall, Hildabeast had dumped her 30K emails on State in paper copy format. I also think there’s going to be a big difference in how fast the FBI works vs. how State was loafing along (criminal conspirators, obstruction, IMO). Also, there’s this on the FBI & DOJ inquiries ... none of it good news for Hilly:

In an unusual move, the F.B.I.’s inquiry is being led out of its headquarters in Washington, blocks from the White House. Nearly all investigations are assigned to one of the bureau’s 56 field offices. But given this inquiry’s importance, senior F.B.I. officials have opted to keep it closely held in Washington in the agency’s counterintelligence section, which investigates how national security secrets are handled.

and there’s this:

The investigation is being overseen by two veteran prosecutors in the Justice Department’s National Security Division. One of them helped manage the prosecution of David H. Petraeus, the retired general and former CIA director who was sentenced to probation earlier this year after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified materials. He was also fined $100,000.

Acceptance of a pardon is by definition admission of guilt. Hillary will NEVER admit guilt.

Some of the emails have multiple redactions for classified information.

They need to find out if Hillary forwarded any email - and where it was sent.

What irony?

One of two possible outcomes seems too bizarre for me to comprehend, that being Hillary either gets prosecuted and goes to jail along with her Mills machine, or she becomes president of the United States.

This country is just insane. For the better part of a decade she was using a server with an email address which was outside the system of government. And in all that time nobody noticed the email address? Please! Cut me a break!

My work email thru an AS400 rejects emails to competitors, rival companies, government agencies, and so on.......If my employer's 1990 AS400 email server recognizes uncleared messages from going to places they should not go without oversight, I find this whole story a little hard to wrap my small mind around. No government could be this stupid and incompetent for this long?
