Lanier also attributed the city’s recent murder spike to repeat offenders who have recently been released from prison obtaining weapons and then using them to murder people.
“Multiple of our offenders involved in the homicides have previous homicides and are recently back in the community,” she said. “So far this year 10 people involved in homicide have had prior homicide charges. Ten.”

Thank goodness d.c. has all those gun laws on the books or the rate would be much higher. So when is lanier going to impose road blocks to keep certain journalists from bringin multi-round mags(clips to them) in to d.c.?

So murderers have the guns, police don’t protect and residents are denied their Constitutional rights to protect themselves. A White police chief is denying lawful Black residents (and others) the right to arm themselves. And want to bet that most victims are Black? Now if that is not racist.... Like Sanger’s PP abortion clinics in these same Black neighborhoods. War on women? How about a war on Blacks?
Well that’s obviously what the #blacklivematter bunch are protesting about. I suppose they’ve never even considered just how friggin’ lucky they are to have been born here. Ingrates.
