Based on the following, I’m guessing the FBI will be doing ‘some’ pressing - supposedly the Intelligence IG went to the FBI & there is more Intelligence involvement now, not just the stone-walling State department:

Meanwhile, Fox News has learned that top U.S. intelligence officials are running out of patience with the State Department’s reluctance to turn over emails from the server.

The Intelligence Community’s Inspector General has requested approximately 30,000 emails from Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State in order to conduct its own review. Those emails are in possession of the State Department, which has been gradually releasing them to the public.

An intelligence source told Fox News the State Department has pushed back on the government intelligence watchdog’s request, and that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is considering intervening. The source said the inspector general wants to check the controls on the redaction process and ensure that the office can get a handle on all of the potentially sensitive information that was contained in the Clinton emails.

Hillary will be insulated. The junior staffer will agree to some sort of plea deal.

Maybe. But the fact that she allowed them access to the server alone would be dereliction and mishandling of classified materials by Hillary. She failed to properly secure her server from people with inadequate clearance.

As stupid as dems are, nobody would believe for a minute that a fall guy would do this WITHOUT the knowledge and nod from Criminal Clinton.

I think all of this is happening because ValJar and Michelle want Hillary gone.

That’s what I think will happen, if it looks like real jail time is in someone’s future, the canaries will start singing.

Unless the MSM gets the word to go with this as a lead every evening nothing will happen

Not that I think Hillary will suffer any criminal or civil consequences, but it is going to be extremely difficult for her to put forth an "I didn't know" defense.

Suppose she received an email marked TOP SECRET/SCI/NOFORN. She can say she didn't know it was classified when she got it because there was no classified header. Ok, so who reads her emails besides her, and who would strip the headers before she got the emails? If she names someone who didn't have the proper clearance, she is guilty of allowing someone who didn't have the proper clearance access to classified information. And there is no defense for that. If she says she doesn't know who stripped the emails it's even worse because in her own words, she was so negligent in her job that a total stranger could have read the emails. Checkmate.

The 06 gets relieved of command and quite possibly sent to prison.

Maybe Trump or Cruz should go with this as the lead every night until she drops out or goes to jail.

Precisely. She’s in trouble either way. Possibly more so if this turns out to be true.

Sure hope you’re right. Since 1992 I’ve been hearing,

“Oh, the Clintons have royally messed up this time!”
“The Clintons are toast, now!”
“They won’t get out of this one, nosiree!”

Hillary has more lives than Christopher Lee’s Dracula.

What this means is either she’s stupid or lying.

The department head can and often does make decisions on dissemination of classified data, and moreover is considered a classifier. In other words, the SOS is supposed to know just by looking at data, a message, photos, etc., whether or not they should be treated as classified.

So, for example, if the message was about phone tapping Putin, she should know that that type of information is NOT UNclassified. How about anything on Libya revealing the whereabouts of Muhammar Kaddafi and the trustworthiness and name of the source?

Come on, now, she’s playing a game. The private server was set up to get away with not having government oversight and scrutiny. The game is to hide stuff that would be criminal. Will Trump and Cruz let her get away with it?

Actually, all 17 GOP candidates ought to be “Mad as hell” about this and make sure it is the first thing out of their mouths every time they’re asked a question.

Treason ought to be fought, not approved, nor in silence allowed.

How exactly does one “strip” email markings?

Is it simply a line in the email that says “Top Secret” that you can backspace over? That seems ludicrous to me!

Wouldn’t instead the emails have pdf attachments, scans of actual documents that had been stamped with the classification? To “strip” out those stampings would require a bit more work than simply removing a header from a paragraph in an email.

Looks like more Rathergate-esque document shenanigans are afoot.

They probably cut out and pasted in the relevant parts.

However, it concerns me—and is illegal—to be able to bring up a classified document electronically and use that same PC to have unclassified, outside the organization connectivity, let alone a public email system connection.

So, they may have used a unclassified PC—that is, not cleared to allow classified data access—to bring up the classified data on that PC to transfer it, or allowed an illegal connection to the outside word on a PC on a classified network, that would have been approved to be on a classified network ONLY.

All of this should have been disallowed by policy and technological means.

Someone with administrator access may have allowed some illegal things to occur.

Now, I say may have, because it is still possible for the Secretary herself to transfer the data to a thumb drive and take it home, or let someone on her staff do so, BUT—since using writable thumb drives is illegal on classified systems, some administrator would have had to remove that policy on the Secretary’s or close underling’s computer.
