A New York Yankees minor-league affiliate says it was surprised by the controversy surrounding a “Blue Lives Matter Day” held at its ballpark Sunday.
Social-justice activists and left-leaning websites criticized the timing of the event, which took place on the anniversary of Michael Brown’s death in Ferguson, Mo., but team officials insist it was simply a coincidence.
Blue Lives Matter NYC, a charity for the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, hosted the fundraising event during a baseball game between the Staten Island Yankees and the Brooklyn Cyclones at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark.
Kirsten Savali, a cultural critic for the Root, an online magazine on African-American culture, said that with this event the baseball team “unapologetically spits” in the face of the Black Lives Matter movement.

I am waiting for the Back To Africa movement
How is it that only black lives matter? How is it that black.lives only matter in a rare case of a black criminal suspect being shot by a white policeman? Black lives don’t seem to matter if blacks are killed by other blacks, only when killed by whites.
BFD. Black Lives Matter is just a label to protect, based on skin color, anti-social criminal behavior that endangers everybody.

the great entirety of Africa would so much benefit from the influx of millions of disaffected American blacks . Seriously , they could save that beautiful and vitally important continent , which is swiftly and entirely going down hill fast. Poor leadership in virtually every African nation , evil insurgencies that must be fought . A vast movement of repatriating American blacks could find the soul fulfillment of their lives in engaging with such a high and noble effort . Not like Oprah , whose Africa aide and identification consists of several quick uber rich lady PR visits and the sponsorship of a small school or two . If disaffected American black wish to really and truly DO SOMETHING with their lives, other than consigning themselves to being perpetual whiners and useful tools of anti-white racists , they should consider returning to and transforming Africa .They have all the answers already . Apply them .

So it's a good day to have a Blue Lives Matter day.
