Taxpayer money being used to teach 'transgendered' men to talk like girls

The University of Connecticut, which received state and federal funding, has a program to teach men who want to be pretend to be women how to talk like girls (and vice-versa, of course -- no discrimination there!).

You would think this would be something easily accomplished without classes, but I guess like thespians, they want to learn from professionals!

Sylvia Wojcik was making reservations for a beach getaway in Maine when the receptionist on the other end of the line called her "ma'am." Nothing could have delighted her more.

Wojcik, 66, is transitioning from male to female. For her, that proof that she sounded like a woman was an important moment.

Wojcik has undergone several years of voice therapy, the past 18 months at the University of Connecticut's Speech and Hearing Clinic, one of a growing number of clinics with programs to teach transgender people how to sound more like the sex they identify with.

They learn not only how to change the pitch of their voice, but also its resonance (males speak more from chest, women from the head) and delivery (men tend to be more staccato, women more fluid).

It involves a lot of voice exercises - humming to find an ideal pitch, naming five words that start with the letter "T."

Five words that start with T? That sounds like the Damon Wayans "Men on Films" gay parody skit from "In Living Color!"

Roberts, a freelance copywriter, has been attending sessions since February. She expects to participate for at least another semester.

As a man, Roberts was a radio personality, voiceover artist and actor. She is now returning to the stage as an actress and doesn't want her voice to impede her winning roles.

One of the funniest things I have seen lately is a picture of Bruce Jenner, dressed as a woman, with the caption ‘she sounds hideous.......well, she's a guy’. I have read that he is taking voice lessons on how to speak more womanly. If that succeeds, he should take walking lessons next. From the ‘transsexuals’ I have seen on various news shows, none of them walk like a woman. Or talk like a woman. These confused people really need good psychiatric care......but the PC psychiatrists are more interested in investing in the psychosis than trying to help the confused person.

There was a transgender “woman” killed in Detroit this week. Its brought lots of hand wringing over the “plight” of transgendered people but nobody wants to face a simple fact.

The fact is that this cross dressing moron was on the street corner trying to turn tricks. In fact, I suspect the majority of transgenders are prostitutes. That’s a dangerous enough thing for an actual female to do. Now throw an unsuspecting male trick into the mix with a “transgender woman” and you have a recipe for disaster.

While guys picking up hookers are hardly clean in this situation, the transgender who uses subterfuge to have sex with a straight male is just as guilty of sexual assault as any other male who uses subterfuge to get his jollies with women.

In the case of this college, you just know men are being taught to not rape at the same time transgenders are being instructed on how to complete the illusion to carry out their form of rape.

From what I’m reading 12 of 14 transgender people murdered this year were black.

Years ago the brother of a black friend of mine was a transvestite (the word used then) prostitute and was beaten to death with a tire iron. My friend basically shrugged it off because everybody expected it to end that way.

My friend who had himself done time explained that the transvestite prostitute thing grew out of prison life. He explained that there were 3 kinds of men in prison. Them men who decide to be the bitch because they can’t fight for themselves. The men who use and protect the bitches. And the men who are as minimally involved as possible. He said his brother was a bitch and he himself was minimally involved.

I know that’s a sleepy cat getting comfortable, not doing a double facepalm (facepaw?) but it applies here.

Anyway, Brucie-Woosie with his XY cells & intact winky is getting old, very old. He is one very sick individual & ours is a sick society that celebrates his weirdness.

Now our tax money is demanded of us toward this sordid cause?
