What’s special about those eggs? I don’t pay anywhere near that much for eggs.
These are farmer’s market eggs. Just laid that morning (generally, of course). Organic, free range, with a great round yolk, bright orange. Very delicious, very creamy and worth every penny - when I can afford them. I use them only for eating - never for baking.
