Mayor de Blasio was booed at Sunday’s Dominican Day Parade by people angry he slammed the country’s government for wanting to expel ethnic Haitians.

“He talks too much,” said heckler Francisco Bens, 53, of Brooklyn, who greeted de Blasio with scattered boos along the Sixth Ave. parade route. “He doesn’t like the Dominican Republic. ... He says Dominicans don’t like black people. That’s not true.”

De Blasio hosted a press conference in June to condemn the looming deportations of thousands of people of Haitian descent from the Dominican Republic.

“It is clearly an illegal act. It is an immoral act. It is a racist act by the Dominican government,” he said at the time.

While he was backed by both Dominican and Haitian elected officials, he drew the ire of Dominican-Americans.

So the Mayor formerly known as Warren Wilhem (I guess his real name sounds too "3rd reich-ish" hey, a sleazebag politician's gotta do what a sleazbag politician's gotta do to shore up the NYC Jewish vote) got a portion of his Hispanic constituency POed. Too bad they still support il figlio del sfaccim but it's a start.

Dominicans are black, well, most are at least part-black.

The Mayor of NYC should not be holding pressers to denounce friendly, foreign governments.

I can’t stand Cuomo but he’s a heck of a lot better than Wilhelm.

I wish Weiner would have been mayor, it would have been comedy gold.

Cuomo should be equally booed.

Yes, for the most part the Dominican Republic has a common color with their Haitian neighbors. But they have no problem controlling their border with the only turd world garbage can with whom they share a border and De Blasio doesn't like it.
