There is some truth to your statement. This is part of why it was so easy to give up on Chris Christie. Even before the
Obama Bromance at the worst possible moment. Christies needlessly abrasive responses began to wear on me. I recall the main incident that made to say ‘enough!’.
Christie was speaking at an event, when an elderly gentlemen spoke up with an opposing view. He was not yelling or arguing. Christie’s response was to riducule, belittle and humiliate that old guy. I thought that was so very disrespectful, for a young Gov. to treat an elder voter like that. An unnecessarily aggressive attack. I haven’t felt the same about Christie since that event.
So he should accept being everyone’s pinata? Fiorina left him no wiggle room whatsoever with her ridiculing.
Carly is stepping into Lindsey Graham’s role as the official female scold for the GOPe.

From everything I have read and the people I know that were in the sector back then, she DEFINED the Peter Principle. She got the job because it was PC to have a woman CEO, not out of skill. Or qualification. In fact much of her rise was as a quota/Peter..
When she finally rose to her level of incompetence, she had a board of Pete’s cousins across the table and together they made history.
One only read the history of HP to see what her leadership of America would look like. And one only talk to former Ex HP employees to learn what her exec Admin would act like.

Trump is not as smart as he thinks he is. On Thursday evening he should have answered better when confronted with his past remarks. He could have laughed it off as a way of letting off steam when confronted with an irritation. He could have said he likes women in general and that he has done it to men too. No one is perfect. The audience may have forgotten about it by now, but with his continuing to whine about Megyn and now Carly - and to demean them for their accomplishments is petty.
