NBC/WSJ polls are usually on the low side for Trump. Look to see others up higher. Good to see Cruz in 2nd.

This should be The Donald’s theme song.

“Rooster”
by Alice In Chains

Ain’t found a way to kill me yet
Eyes burn with stinging sweat
Seems every path leads me to nowhere
Wife and kids household pet
Army green was no safe bet
The bullets scream to me from somewhere

Here they come to snuff the rooster
Yeah here come the rooster, yeah [2x]
You know he ain’t gonna die
No, no, no, ya know he ain’t gonna die

Walkin’ tall machine gun man
They spit on me in my home land
Gloria sent me pictures of my boy
Got my pills ‘gainst mosquito death
My buddy’s breathin’ his dyin’ breath
Oh god please won’t you help me make it through

Here they come to snuff the rooster
Yeah here come the rooster, yeah
You know he ain’t gonna die
No, no, no ya know he ain’t gonna die

Top 4 are non-traditional candidates — Rovian RINO GOPe elitists are in meltdown.

They thought they had him dead and ready for burial. They were already shoveling dirt.

It is the Media + the Political Class [that includes both major parties] vs Trump

The Political Class don’t like Trump rocking the boat. They like their status quo just fine and they consider Trump an outsider and an interloper.

==

Bush hardly even moved the meter. He was at 2% in the Drudge online poll.

==

I do not see the appeal of Carson. He seems to be a nice guy, but I cannot picture him facing down the Ayatollah or Putin.

Sorry, but Carson just does not have the personality for the office.

We do not need a feelgoodism candidate trying to clean up the mess Obama is going to leave.

Nice. For all the Trump-bashers out there, you can't deny the fact that his presence in the race is allowing the more conservative candidates like Ted Cruz to shine.

Otherwise, the MSM would be focused on taking them out early, leaving behind their sacrificial lamb for Shrillary.

Good to see Cruz and Fiorina among the leaders.

This important explanation of why the assertions by Fiorina and other debate participants who stated that Dodd-Frank must be repealed are important and should be talked about in local communities all over the country.

Without the small banks who have helped their communities by providing startup loans and assistance for entrepreneurs, "main street" could not have thrived and produced jobs. The Democrats' use of this tactic to "choke" off the rights of individuals and small businesses is repulsive and the antithesis of what our Constitution's limits on the power of do-gooders in government was all about.

Debate watchers, absent an explanation of Dodd-Frank's implications for individual citizens and the small business sector, may tend to just hear the words and not realize the critical dangers that D-F poses for their lives and that of their children.

Trump is the first choice of 19 percent of GOP primary voters, while 15 percent back Walker and 14 percent back Bush. Ten percent support retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.

Donald Trump Surges in New NBC News/WSJ Poll

Looks like Trump gained 4% in this poll today if we are looking at comparable polls from 8/2 and 8/9. And I think we are.

NBC News and SurveyMonkey are embarking new partnership that will enable them to harness the best of the Web’s wide reach and real-time reaction combined with scientific methodology and journalistic standards, according to a release issued by the network.

If you add up the totals for Trump, Cruz, Carson and Fiorina it’s 57%. That’s basically a middle finger to the Establishment.

Not one of those people is associated with the Washington DC GOPe. Although Fiorina may have shot herself in the foot with her statements this weekend. She should have hit the mute button until some polls came out.

Trump 23% Cruz 13% Carson 11% Fiorina 8% Rubio 8% Bush 7% Walker 7%

Many expected Cruz, Carson and Fiorina to make gains in the polls after the debate. The question I had was: at whose expense? Based on this one poll, their gains appear to have been at the expense of other candidates and not Trump.

Fantastic if that holds for later polls, and Trump appears to have gained support also based on this early poll.

Hehehe, hahaha, hohoho...

This will only serve to whip the libs and the RINOs into an even greater tizzy, playing further into the hands of Trump and Cruz.

And they just can't help themselves.
