Carly Fiorina stood with Republican Establishment AGAINST CRUZ in 2013 government shutdown
The Right Scoop ^ | 8/8/15 | Posted by The Right Scoop

Back during the government shutdown of 2013, Carly Fiorina told CNN’s The Lead that she felt badly for Boehner and blamed the shutdown on Ted Cruz and Obama:

"Everybody could see this train wreck coming. I actually feel badly for John Boehner. I think this is Ted Cruz and President Obama’s shutdown. I think Ted Cruz’s tactics were wrong.

There’s no honor in charging a hill that you know you can’t take, only casualties, although Ted Cruz maybe got name recognition and money along the way. But President Obama wanted this shutdown. And Ted Cruz played right into his hands."

More..."Look, John Boehner – the reason I said he has a very difficult task is John Boehner is trying to hold the caucus together. And yet there are elements of his caucus that are much more extreme than other elements of the caucus.”

Well, that’s it then. Cruz/Fiorina.

Balanced ticket.

Forget HP, how about that dirty race against Tom Campbell and losing to Barabara Boxer for the senate? Which then set the stage for repeated failures by the state GOP.

When I saw her tweets getting involved with the Kelly/Trump tiff; I decided it was unprofessional and she is not for me.

I thought she was probably establishment but I really didn’t know much about her to be able to say for sure.

This pretty much does it.

I did not see Carly catching on here.

I think that’s a mistake.

She’s not what folks think she is IMO.

Here experience at HP was not positive. She talks of making enemies there. That’s not the type of positive thing that proves how capable you are.

Granted it may not have been a good economic time for her, but leaving a place and their stock moving up that day...

Sorry, that doesn’t exactly instill an image of a person that is capable of running a big operation.

Yep, no matter what I tell people, they always succumb to wishful thinking when it comes to Carly, a liberal California Republican who has been cozy with the GOP-E up until about 4 months ago when she decided she wanted to run.

Take off the blinders people.

There’s no honor in charging a hill that you know you can’t take, only casualties,

Tell that to countless American soldiers who have done the impossible in the last 240 years.

What a maroon.

I take her to be an eloquent pandering opportunistic sniper. Other than that...

Carly Fiorina on Immigration: Pass the DREAM Act. For other undocumented immigrants, a direct path to citizenship is unfair. While running for the U.S. Senate in California in 2010, Fiorina said she supports the DREAM Act, which would give legal status to people who were brought to the U.S. illegally as children.

Carly Fiorina on Climate change: It is real and manmade. But government has limited ability to address it. Speaking in New Hampshire in February, Fiorina said there is scientific consensus that climate change is real and caused by humans.

Carly Fiorina on Education: Supports Common Core – Set national standards but give local districts maximum control. No Child Left Behind was positive. In a position paper while running for the U.S. Senate in California, Fiorina strongly advocated for metric-based accountability in schools. She praised No Child Left Behind as setting high standards and Race to the Top for using internationally-benchmarked measures.

HP has a market cap of 55 billion. The current and former CEO’s ascribe a lot of that to Fiorina vision. You may not like her but your not liking her does not change the facts. Nor does disagreeing with Ted Cruz on tactics.

I’ve always thought she was running as the Republican answer to Hillary. “Look at us. We have a female candidate too!”

Sorry, but this female was/is not impressed. I don’t care about a candidate’s gender, color or anything other than whether a candidate best represents my values and beliefs.

She is getting a lot of attention on Twitter from people like Laura Ingraham and others.

Levin posted a link to this information about her on his Twitter account.
