That headline says it all, that’s exactly what I was thinking. And, quite frankly, that audience count is a number that should scare the heck out of Hillary!

Although I will grant that Trump’s participation probably did a good deal to boost the audience. Why? I don’t know, but people do seem to get a kick out of him.

Right out of the box, you knew how things were going to go.

FOX tried to disguise their 1st question as a question to all candidates when it really was directed solely to Trump.

Yes.

It will make the Fox debate look like a cakewalk.

“Watch the next one tank if Trump refuses to appear.”

Like him or not, you must admit he’s proven to be a tough strategist, because he has the RNC by the b#$$3. So, if they don’t play fair (by his definition) and give him the nomination if he wins primaries, he goes independent and Clinton probably wins unless she is in the Stripey Hole.

FTA: The third-highest polling candidate -- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker -- came in 9th place, being heard just over half of Trump's time.

I was waiting for somebody else to notice this. And the questions the panel gave him were combative and rather personl -- not on the issues of the day.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.

A third of the time was given to moderators pontificating dem talking points...

A question should be a question - not a mini debate statement. Shame on Fox.

Yes, good post. I may sit this election out if Jeb is the nominee. I hate to do that but sometimes my principles have GOT to win out.

Correct.

The real question now is: Will Americans get the change they want or will they get yet more of the same tired, old, corrupt political sh1t.

If the career pols in Washington get their way, it will certainly be the latter.

If that doesn't prove the Fox crew was working for the establishment, what would?

I've said from day one, if Cruz isn't the nominee, I'm staying home.

I later amended that to Trump, unless Cruz is the GOP nominee.

I think I would probably vote for anyone on the panel the other night but Bush - although maybe I would exclude Rand Paul who behaved appallingly the other night. He cut off Trump who should have demanded an extra 30 seconds for that little piece of nastiness.

In my mind, the fact that they were up there means they’ll “play the game” with the exception of Trump for obvious reasons, and Cruz who has actually gone after “the cartel.”

Palin got bi-partisian trashing for the same reason. She cleaned out the corrupt Republicans in Alaska.

There were guys at the golf course who had to leave to get home and “watch Trump.” Guys I never knew cared a whit about politics.
No, those numbers don’t indicate a desire for change, they were all about The Donald being on the debate.

I’ve always said that Cruz is the one I will support. I hope he can gain traction.

Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace were boors, merely pimping for pop TV rather than substance. Bret B. showed some intelligence in his questions. Was mightily impressed with Carly Fiorina - would be a great ticket - Walker/Fiorina.

With Trump, they cared not for the questions to be relevant to the event...they just wanted to provoke him for sound bites and stories and they did accompllsh that.

Shame on them.

I was ticked off that Cruz wasn’t given more time. I’ll swear that he and Dr. Carson got much less time than the others. I don’t know who compiled this list but it doesn’t seem right to me.

Can't argue with the data......but, two terms of Obama and how far left/commie/socialist the Dems have openly become is enough to be an eye-opener for anyone. I get the sense that Trump is seeing the light a bit more clearly than ever before - will probably never be a hard-core conservative, but has enough conservative bents to make him viable if he's the last man standing - especially when compared to what we will get if the Dems win another one.

Backing Cruz; support Walker as next in line and will donate if Cruz falls out and Walker's still alive, and won't hesitate to vote for Trump if it comes to that - he would be by far the best bet we had compared to McPain and Romney-I'm-a-nice-guy-without-a-conservative-predilection. IMO, McCain would have been an utter disaster akin to Obama, and Romney wold have been a bit more benign and wouldn't have moved us near as Left as Obama. It's a bit sad that trump may look like a good deal these days.

At any rate: GO CRUZ!!! Hang tough (and toughen up a bit in your public persona) Walker!
