If Trump is out of the race—Who will watch the boaring talkathon? Zip? People going to turn in to see Huckabee? or Jebster or Chrispie Cream? Nope. They should have let Trump answer some questions and he might well have sunk himself in this format—Now he looks like a “Victim”—This can help him—for the moment.

All this whining by Trump about the "tough questions" sure makes him sound like a wimp. He can dish it out but can't take it apparently? Fox was incredibly fair, giving EVERY candidate tough questions.

If Fox was pushing Bush, why did they also ask him questions specifically tailored to all his vulnerable points? Iraq, his brother, common core, amnesty... They even targetted a question to him for allegedly calling Trump a profane term. See below...

But there are several opponents on this stage who get big- applause lines in early voting states with this line: quote, “the last thing the country needs is another Bush in the Oval Office.” So do you understand the real concern in this country about dynastic politics?

I want to ask you about a statement that you made last year about illegal immigrants. And here’s what you said. “They broke the law, but it’s not a felony, it’s an act of love. It’s an act of commitment to your family.” Do you stand by that statement and do you stand by your support for earned legal status?

Governor Bush, for days on end in this campaign, you struggled to answer a question about whether knowing what we know now……we would’ve invaded Iraq… To the families of those who died in that war who say they liberated and deposed a ruthless dictator, how do you look at them now and say that your brothers war was a mistake?

Governor Bush, you are one of the few people on the stage who advocates for Common Core education standards, reading and math. A lot of people on this stage vigorously oppose federal involvement in education. They say it should all be handled locally. President Obama’s secretary of education, Arnie Duncan, has said that most of the criticism of Common Core is due to a, quote, “fringe group of critics.” Do you think that’s accurate?

That many jobs, 19 million, would be triple what your father and your brother accomplished together. And four percent growth, the last president to average that was Lyndon Johnson during the height of the Vietnam War. So question, how on Earth specifically would you pull that off?

Governor Bush, I want to ask you, on the subject of name calling of your fellow candidates, a story appeared today quoting an anonymous GOP donor who said you called Mr. Trump a clown, a buffoon, something else that cannot be repeated on television.

I doubt Levin would be into it. He rarely talks about Trump.

Drudge? I could see some type of media partnership.

Why? I don’t go with the majority opinion automatically. If I did, I’d have to have backed Obama twice.

Absolutely correct.

And there are three types of Americans:
1. Morons who don’t know this truth
2. Liars who deny this truth
3. Conservatives

"I've been thinking and here's my hypothesis:

It was just a few weeks ago that the media tried to bury Trump with skewed to the point of lying about Ivana's divorce proceeding statements. That back fired, in spades, when Ivana came forward and set the record straight, and endorsed Donald in the highest terms.

So now they pull this. Trump was a bit taken aback, I thought, and I'm assuming it's because he respects women and gives them opportunities and respect. So why's Meghan Kelly going nuts, when you'd think strong-willed successful women would like Trump for all the opportunities he gives women?

And then I realized. Trump's approval rating is probably ASTRONOMICAL among women, especially older ones who are faithful voters. He's the candidate who will take the female vote from hillary. So the memo from the land of the Morlocks is to destroy Trump's image with women.

What we've got is Meghan Kelley leading the elite's war on women. The reality is real women like men who can get things done, stand by women, and aren't cowered by femnazis. Real women don't like wimps.

The way my thinking's going, it should be Trump who gets the nod, if I'm correct, and their internals are saying it's Trump who stops hillary from dominating the women's vote.

Am I making any sense?"

Perfect sense. IMHO your reasoning is flawless.

The establishment are frantic because all of the sacred "groups" are in play with Trump - women, evangelical, hispanics, white men, blue collar and Reagan (D)emocrats.

Like it or not, and the (R)epublicrats do not, these groups will NOT make the jump to Cruz, Walker, Kasich, Carly, Bush or whomever in the event that Trump goes away.

A Ross Perot rerun isn't new. The only thing different this time is Trump doesn't seem to be offering nearly as many clear, constructive, sound policy suggestions as Perot. Whenever Trump talks about his policies he hems, haws, bobs and weaves like a confused politician and it all sounds like gobbledygook.

Perhaps your memory is fading...Perot was strongly criticized for not having details of what policies he wanted to implement...HOW he would implement those policies...His answer was , 'I don't have to know how to do this', I'll hire the experts who will get it done'...

And that's the way it is done...The President doesn't do anything...He directs the experts to do it for him...

Trump says build the wall...He doesn't have to know how to build it or how many gates are needed...Trump says to wipe out ISIS...He doesn't have to know how...He will have the military for that...

Trump has been pretty clear on what policies he wants to change so far...

From Drudge Report:
“The analysis notes Fox moderators Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier spoke for 31 minutes and 53 seconds of the roughly two-hour broadcast, or 31.7% of the time.”

Every time candidates spoke in the #GOPDebate (darker sections were longer than 60 seconds)

DRUDGE REPORT ‘ONLINE’ POLL :
TRUMP 46.33% (219,889 votes) CRUZ 13.8% ( 65,479 votes) RUBIO 9.62% ( 45,681 votes) CARSON 8.77% ( 41,633 votes) PAUL 6.38% ( 30,284 votes) KASICH 4.74% ( 22,490 votes) WALKER 3.67% ( 17,423 votes) HUCKABEE 3.29% ( 15,603 votes) BUSH 2.13% ( 10,117 votes) CHRISTIE 1.27% ( 6,013 votes) Total Votes: 474,612

And Bush had pat answers for all the questions...He didn't stumble once...Like he had practiced giving those answers...He was asked those questions because those are things he needed to justify to the public...They gave him an opportunity to cover himself...

I have no doubt that Bush was given the questions beforehand...

You get it . and i know what the media is the domestic enemy .
some other posters on here also get it. but I’ve seen a lot here that don’t get it.

Since the media still get ratings and the media still controls a lot of people that call them selves conservative

I don’t think it’s only liberals and independents watching the News .
