The Orders to Take Out Trump Must Have Gone to Fox, Not the Other Candidates

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: It was just 24 hours ago, ladies and gentlemen -- a mere 24 hours ago -- that I was behind this very Golden EIB Microphone informing you that I had come across a bit of news. The bit of news was that big-time Republican donors had ordered to take out Donald Trump in the debate last night.

We all made a mistake. We assumed that the orders went out to the candidates. But the candidates did not make one move toward taking Donald Trump out. The broadcast network did; the candidates didn't. I mean, let's review. The first question from Megyn Kelly to Trump was, "You've called women fat slobs, pigs, whatever," and he said, "No, just Rosie O'Donnell." The place starts laughing and so forth, but she's not amused, and she tells him, "No, it's more than that."

She keeps going on and on and on about it, and says, "Is this the right kind of temperament?" Whatever it was. Trump was clearly caught entirely off guard by it, and even today he said, "I'm not... I don't know when I've ever said this stuff." Who knows if he writes all of his tweets that he posts. You know, this is the danger that when you start going in the social media stuff and tweeting stuff and maybe you hire somebody to do it for you.

All I saw was Trump trying to take himself out. He didn’t need any help.

...wonder who paid who for this ‘horse and pony’ show...

...the losers were the candidates and the public because we couldn’t get answers to the questions we wanted to know...

Call it baptism by fire. If Trump wins the nomination he is going to face not only hard questions, but the dirty tricks of the Marxist media. Things like the “October Surprise”, lurid accusations that later turn out to be baseless, unsealing court rulings, manufacturing documents out of thin air. They will drag him through the mud with lies and innuendo. Fox is just preparing him for the attacks he will surely face.

Or the other candidates saw what a mess Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum made of it and left them hanging. What a couple of tools they are.

I didn’t think much of the Kelley question on women because she couched it in the context that this would be used against him in his campaign since Hillary is a woman.

I think Wallace’s first question was more annoying, concerning the independent run, which he posed to “everyone”, but was obviously only to Trump since he was the only one to ever say so.

Wallace usually seems like a mealy mouthed little turd to me, nevertheless, I wasn’t really upset by any of the questions. I only watched until about 10:15.

I understand that dems will never get difficult questions, but that’s a separate subject.

That may be the result of it but it apparently was not FNC's intention to help him in any way.

One candidate got the message Check and see which company that recently had a confrontation with Trump is funding her.

Note her comments about Trump and his relationship with the Clintons and then read and look at this.

Regardless, FR is all I need. I’m done with Faux News and certainly have no use for that snarky bimbo known Megyn Kelly

Most people did not tune into the debate to see the Fox News agenda played out instead of questions.

In last night’s debate thread at least two freepers suggested that GOP “hitman” Karl Rove was behind the “gotcha” questions that GOP hit-people Fx News “moderators” were throwing at Trump.

Any insights?

Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook) according to Savage. Facebook “F” was on the screen throughout. Says, FoxNews produced an infomercial for Hillary Clinton.

Megan’s first interview after the debate was with Debbie Wasserman Schultz. What does that tell you?

...and that show continued all day today.

Exactly. Trump is not my number one choice, but I loved the way he handled Kelly and did not go meek. The moderators were obviously not very bright, letting their own biases show and asking inane questions.

I think some of those other candidates noticed how Rick Perry and Lindsey Graham spent several weeks slamming Trump and calling him names, and then they noticed which debate those two were in and what their support level was: 2% or less.

It was pretty funny when Chris Wallace tried to sic John Kasich on Trump. That failed so he tried Marco Rubio who also refused to play along.

Bad night for the three Foxes.

All the candidates realize they have more in common with Trump than the three inquisitors at the desk.
