President Obama once said about ObamaCare that, "The health insurance that's being provided is good. It's high quality, and it's affordable." Consumers, apparently, have a different view.

Give Americans a health plan on the backs of working taxpayers, and they STILL don’t like it.
This sure contradicts the glowing stories the news media have been fabricating about the popularity and success of Obamacare.
...
Obamacare is very successful. It’s giving the government more power, and the cronies more money.
People being happy with their plans was never part of the strategy.
Why was there no mention of Obamacare on the Faux debate last night? The media does not inform voters that this disaster is imploding all over the country, with Iows’s Obamacare collapsing this week.

Compare this to the 85% or 90% who said they liked their existing plans before Obama took his wrecking ball to health care.
I spoke with my doctor, who sent a letter suggesting he didn’t take my health insurance any more.
I received a correction - they take the employer based health insurance through Aetna, but NOT the Obamacare plan.
I retired and we signed up for Obamacare because it was cheaper than COBRA.
We get to pay $14,000 a year in premiums, and we get to pay the first $6000 of our individual medical care. And some of our previous doctors will not take Obamacare so we just pay them outside the system.
We don’t come anywhere close to making the $6000 deductable so really we pay $14,000 for nothing.
We can afford it for now and we do avoid the possibility of a $250,000 bill is something goes really wrong.
Do we like it? NO.
Will we change next year? Yes.
“People being happy with their plans was never part of the strategy.”
Dead on the money. Being a country lad I would have said that expecting the federal government to deliver a new health plan that actually works is like walking behind horses expecting them to drop gold nuggets rather than road apples.
I have heard similar stories from others, I am glad that you are financially able to survive but many others, including myself, could not possibly pay $14000. a year for nothing. I remember when I earned that much gross pay in two full years and I was driving a new car and living pretty darned well. Counting Navy service it took me the first five years of my working life to earn $14000. gross before taxes. It sounds as though, if you ever did meet your deductible, you would have spent $20000. out of pocket first. What percentage does the plan pay after that?
That’s because it doesn’t cost them $0. Most still have a premium payment and a huge deductible.
I suspect it was not mentioned because the moderators were instructed not to go there, it would have opened up a whole can of worms that they wanted to keep covered.
