Bush is so out of touch with the conservative base, in other words, republicans; that he can’t see what he himself is - a democrat. So he has a real problem with a real, conservative LEADER.
Bush needs to run as a democrat. His positions are much more in line with with liberals.
Desperate times, desperate measures.
Note the timing of the article. Trump will see it. But, I'm betting Trump won't take the bait.

I suspect this may be fabricated - I cannot imagine Bush saying such - is really a PC type guy - don’t make any waves - vanilla!!

Karl Rove’s attack piece against Trump this morning in the WSJ is part of a coordinated effort to shake Trump up.
And I did not think there was anything that could make me despise the GOPe more than I do now.
I truly hope Donald Trump runs third-party, just to stuck it to the GOPe.
The GOPe is corrupt to its rotten core and must be destroyed.
