Obama Administration Modifies U.S. Oath of Allegiance to Accommodate Muslims
American Thinker ^ | 08/06/2015 | Raymond Ibrahim

The Obama administration recently made changes to the Oath of Allegiance to the United States in a manner very conducive to Sharia, or Islamic law.

On July 21, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced some “modifications” to the Oath of Allegiance that immigrants must take before becoming naturalized.

The original oath required incoming citizens to declare that they will “bear arms on behalf of the United States” and “perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States” when required by the law.

Now the USCIS says, “A candidate [to U.S. citizenship] may be eligible to exclude these two clauses based on religious training and belief or a conscientious objection.”

The new changes further add that new candidates “May be eligible for [additional?] modifications based on religious training and belief, or conscientious objection arising from a deeply held moral or ethical code.”

These changes serve incoming Islamic supremacists especially well.  For, while Islamic law allows Muslims to feign loyalty to non-Muslim “infidel” authorities, it bans Muslims from living up to the pretense by actually fighting or killing fellow Muslims on behalf of a non-Muslim entity, such as the United States.

The perfectly fitting story of Nidal Hassan -- the U.S. army major and “observant Muslim who prayed daily” but then turned murderer -- comes to mind and is illustrative.

I don’t see this as an issue at all, since taqiyya gives them basically a “free pass” to say anything they want.

Obscene, but not surprising.

At this rate in a few more years and we will be a Muslim Country. Drip, Drip, Drip. And this upcoming election we will lose because of the ignorance of the Republican voters and the lack of a real candidate. Probably won’t matter anyway since King Obama will become dictator for life.

I am appalled, but kind of felt it wouldn’t change anything.

And oaths don’t mean anything to anyone anyway. You can raise your hand, take an oath, and in nearly all cases, means absolutely nothing.

Nobody seems bound by their word anymore.

‘conscientious objection arising from a deeply held moral or ethical cod’

So, Muslims are allowed suspension of our laws/moral code but Christians aren’t? Bizarro America, allowed by the spineless Republicans who COULD STOP THIS DESTRUCTION OF OUR COUNTRY!

“A candidate [to U.S. citizenship] may be eligible to exclude these two clauses based on religious training and belief or a conscientious objection.”

No, I don't think so. The solution is to go back where you came from so you don't have to serve in the US. That's what should happen if you don't like the way we do things. But, politicians don't see it that way. I used to think it was the politicians who were idiots. Now I know it's us voters who are the idiots.

But SNOPES said it wasn’t changed! I guess they use voice conversion software and can’t read.

USCIS Clarifies Eligibility Requirements for Modifications to the Oath of Allegiance

Effective July 21, 2015, new guidance (PA-2015-001) in the USCIS Policy Manual clarifies the eligibility requirements for modifications to the Oath of Allegiance.

Reciting the Oath is part of the naturalization process. Candidates for citizenship normally declare that they will “bear arms on behalf of the United States” and “perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States” when required by the law.

A candidate may be eligible to exclude these two clauses based on religious training and belief or a conscientious objection. The new guidance clarifies that a candidate:

May be eligible for modifications based on religious training and belief, or conscientious objection arising from a deeply held moral or ethical code.
Is not required to belong to a specific church or religion, follow a particular theology or belief, or to have had religious training in order to qualify.
May submit, but is not required to provide, an attestation from a religious or other type of organization, as well as other evidence to establish eligibility.

This guidance updates Volume 12 of the Policy Manual.

To provide feedback on this guidance, please visit Policy Manual for Comment no later than August 4, 2015.

deadline for feedback is over, but if it makes you feel better...

http://www.uscis.gov/outreach/feedback-opportunities/policy-manual-comment

From the page:

“Comment Submission Process
Please email all comments to ope.feedback@uscis.dhs.gov . Please include the following to make your comments clear:

State the title of the relevant volume and section in the subject line of your message;
Refer to a specific portion of the document;
Explain the reason for any recommended change; and
Include data, information, or authority that supports the recommendation.

You must submit your comments before the closing date noted in the table above. USCIS may distribute any comments received (including any personal information and contact information) on its public website or to those who request copies. By providing comments, you consent to their use and consideration by USCIS, and you acknowledge that your comments may become public.”

Too bad the deadline for comments is over. Why does the administration get to change this stuff?

Who gave this office the right to change the Oath? I think that’s up to Congress.

Think of all those naturalized citizens that gave their lives in defense of their new homeland during WW2, and now, when they see you, and ask, “How goes the Union?”, what will you say?

Nice work, Queer-In-Charge.

It doesn’t matter with this president, he will take power wherever he wants to and nothing will be done. Congress is totally weak and irrelevant now. What I want to know is why isn’t anyone talking about all these changes that are positive for muslims and Iranians coming from someone whose #1 advisor is a muslim Iranian - Valerie Jarrett.
