You know, after seeing and reading about PP, not that I wasn’t aware before, mind you, I’m all in favor of abortion. The retroactive kind. And I don’t need the Pope to tell me that these children are the most innocent and defenseless of humans. To anyone with a soul and brain, it should be self evident!
So yea, I’m all for retroactive abortions. I’m sorry, that may not be very Christian of me, but this is beyond the pale.
What mystifies me is in this ‘age of enlightenment’, with teenagers having smart phones, computers, the internet, and sex education for kidergartners, that they can’t figure out HOW TO NOT GET PREGNANT in the first place.
Their line in the sand is the hospital door. If the baby leaves the hospital alive, it is protected.
Our line in the sand is conception. Protection starts there.

Why can’t someone propose an absolute x number of weeks that we all can agree on?

Yeah, they know it's a baby. They don't care. This is not a cognition problem. It will not get fixed with reason or facts. This is a problem of a disordered will consciously making a choice for evil.
I read somewhere several years ago that Kirsten had accepted Christ as her Savior, making her a new baby Christian. Subsequently, I have watched her on Brett Baier’s panel and elsewhere for signs that she’s growing in the Lord.
I’ve seen little indications here and there, and occasional missteps, but nothing like some I’ve committed in my 52 years as a Believer. This huge and courageous step by Powers indicates to me that she’s truly growing. I pray she continues.
