FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) A silent march and a day of civil disobedience are among the events being planned this weekend in Ferguson to mark the first anniversary of the fatal shooting of a Black 18-year-old by a White police officer, an event that galvanized the Black Lives Matter movement.
Organizers are calling it the Ferguson Uprising Commemoration Weekend. Plans announced last week include a silent march starting at 11 a.m. (Central) on Sunday from Canfield Drive, where Michael Brown was killed, to Greater St. Mark Family Church.
The agenda from the Ferguson Action Council includes an art event, rap and rock concerts. The events begin on Friday. The agenda calls for Monday to be a Day of Civil Disobedience and National Call to Action. Messages seeking clarification about what sort of civil disobedience is planned were not returned....

The fake cop will then fire blanks at the Rememberers who will first run, then stop and charge the cop. They will be running backwards with their hands in the air to demonstrate how Michael Brown simultaneously ran away from the policeman while charging at him.
Afterwards, the Rememberers will go to one of major businesses left in Ferguson and burn it down after looting the contents. Everybody will be recharged and ready for more lawful protesting i.e more looting and burning. A few passing white people will also be ceremoniously assaulted to give a little verisimilitude to the proceedings.
A thug thief lionized and sanitized by the MSM.
It’s astonishing.
I’d love to see the demographic breakdown of Ferguson today as compared to a year ago, along with comparisons of income; must be reduced to just unassimilated urban socialists at this point...
“A silent march and a day of civil disobedience”........
Which one will it be, civility or more destruction? So much to choose from and so little time. (sarc)
Street Rats know only one thing and it has NOTHING to do with being civil.
cops should have shot the first looter.
Cops should have shot the first fire bug.
Cops should have shot the first mugger.
That would have shut this looting burning stuff down right away.
It’s right up there with 9/11. I’ll be sure to ask friends...”where were you when Ferguson happened”?
That is exactly what would have happened if they had tried this anywhere outside of their own welfare hatchery...
I live next to Newark NJ (with a moat/river between us); we don’t have unruly unassimilated urban socialists demonstrating in my town - ever. When they come here, it is early in the month to buy their groceries at our Shop-Rite (at one end of town, nearest the bridge); they simply lower their heads and buy their food with the money white people gave them.
in ferguson........ at least one black life didn’t matter
Michael was a burden on society, a cancerous criminal that chose to attack and get killed. Quite frankly, his life didn’t matter as much as the life of the officer that killed him
I am still waiting on their promised march to the state capital.
Check out the comments made by the sister of the convicted bank robber who killed the police officer in Memphis.
To say they operate from a different universe is not much of stretch.
#NotToMe
It’s sickening too! What would they have done if Brown had been a decent kid gunned down by a thug? Probably nothing.
Rock concerts??? Who’s headlining? The Clash?
LOL
Likely, the Barnes and Noble is still available for looting.
Their agenda left out the fist fights, the gun fights, and the straight razor fights plus a spontaneous rape or two. As I said before, if I was White and lived in Ferguson, my ass would have been gone long ago. Let the animals have it.
Easy chapter for Colin Flaherty’s next book. Almost writes itself.
Truth has apparently disappeared long, long ago.
I always wondered when the Bible said massive numbers of people would believe a lie in the End Times.
I’m witnessing the beginnings of it, first-hand. It’s difficult to talk with certain segments of our society, from all backgrounds.
Again, it’s astonishing.
