“Paying over 20% on a credit card? Not impressed by the personal financial acumen.”

Neither am I.

My concern here is that Walker has apparently mismanaged his own finances - owing that much, and at that interest rate, while earning almost three times the average household income in his state.

Anyone who can’t manage their own money shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near mine.

Yeah, this doesn’t inspire faith. There are really two reasons why you would pay that much...you didn’t get around to getting a card with a lower rate or your credit is so shot you can’t get a card at a lower rate. If its the former it’s just silly and mildly negligence. If its the latter though, that doesn’t bode well. It makes you a target for those who would like to “help” you...for a favor. Our Former governor here in VA took a bunch of loans and gifts for gavors. It didn’t end well. If you want to send him a letter, it’ll have to be sent care of the Bureau of Prisons.
