I'm sure the GOPe (who "control" both Houses, *snort*) will get right on it.

But first they have some important tee times and a few fund raisers to attend down at the local Chambers of Commerce. Oh (I almost forgot), then they have a special cocktail reception over at Nancy's Nest along with their good friends, Chuck and Harry.

But they'll hop on it - as soon as they finish throwing Mark Meadows off more of his committees...

Abortion is, in of itself, an atrocity. The benefit of this is that it makes it far more difficult for people to remain blasé about it.

But I, for one, think that there is one thing more important for Congress to do: to tack an amendment on the next "must-pass" appropriation bill that states:

For the purposes of the law within the United States, the definition of "personhood" is extended to include all human beings from the moment of fertilization. In accordance with the Article 3, Section 2 of the US Constitution, this definition is not subject to judicial review.

Article 3 Section 2 says, in part:

In all cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, and those in which a state shall be party, the Supreme Court shall have original jurisdiction. In all the other cases before mentioned, the Supreme Court shall have appellate jurisdiction, both as to law and fact, with such exceptions, and under such regulations as the Congress shall make.

Why would this be important?

Take a look at the actual text of the Roe v Wade decision:

A. The appellee and certain amici argue that the fetus is a "person" within the language and meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment. In support of this, they outline at length and in detail the well known facts of fetal development. If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant's case, of course, collapses, [p157] for the fetus' right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the Amendment. The appellant conceded as much on reargument. [n51] On the other hand, the appellee conceded on reargument [n52] that no case could be cited that holds that a fetus is a person within the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment.

The Constitution does not define "person" in so many words. Section 1 of the Fourteenth Amendment contains three references to "person." The first, in defining "citizens," speaks of "persons born or naturalized in the United States." The word also appears both in the Due Process Clause and in the Equal Protection Clause. "Person" is used in other places in the Constitution: in the listing of qualifications for Representatives and Senators, Art. I, § 2, cl. 2, and § 3, cl. 3; in the Apportionment Clause, Art. I, § 2, cl. 3; [n53] in the Migration and Importation provision, Art. I, § 9, cl. 1; in the Emolument Clause, Art. I, § 9, cl. 8; in the Electors provisions, Art. II, § 1, cl. 2, and the superseded cl. 3; in the provision outlining qualifications for the office of President, Art. II, § 1, cl. 5; in the Extradition provisions, Art. IV, § 2, cl. 2, and the superseded Fugitive Slave Clause 3; and in the Fifth, Twelfth, and Twenty-second Amendments, as well as in §§ 2 and 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment. But in nearly all these instances, the use of the word is such that it has application only post-natally. None indicates, with any assurance, that it has any possible pre-natal application. [n54] [p158]

All this, together with our observation, supra, that, throughout the major portion of the 19th century, prevailing legal abortion practices were far freer than they are today, persuades us that the word "person," as used in the Fourteenth Amendment, does not include the unborn.

It seems that if a definition of "person" was legally expanded to include the unborn, it would cut Roe v Wade off at the knees.

Then the funding of PP would be a moot point as any attempt to deprive a person of life without due process would be a violation of that person's rights.

Jim, the Planned Parenthood expose’ is very devastating to even a lot of liberals, and should be one of our top priorities in Congress re federal defunding of it.

However, it is more of the key that opened the door and eyes of the American people as to what is going on under the radar in the Obama authoritarian regime.

The killing of Kate Steinle finally awoken a lot of people as to the horrible crimes committed by too many illegal criminal aliens who have been protected by the Marxist/religious band who created the “sanctuary city” concept. This is hurting Obama and his red rats, and the Democrats as well.

This is another key target area where we must keep the pressure on both in Congress and in the media.

The Iran “agreement” act of treason is also just as important since, as the old adage goes, “one nuke can really ruin your day”. Just as the Japanese and the Israelis who are the future target of the next group of bombs made-in-Iran.

Obamacare is showing significant signs of coming apart in many areas, and white liberals are suffering from it. Good. What goes round, comes round.

HillaryGate is not just warming up but is like a volcano getting ready to blow. Our job is to fan the flames to make that so.

Our job is to make sure that when “it comes round”, it hits the left like a Mack Truck on full throttle.

We have been given a gift of 4-5 major fiascos and tragedies upon which to base our political offensives.

When the enemy is off-balance, you hit him in many places at the same time with full force. You want to bring him down to his knees before you kick him in the balls and lay him out flat.

A professor from the Un. of Pennsylvania once wrote a book entitled “The Front Is Everywhere”. That should be our policy, to make every major issue a “front” for our attacks. Give the enemy (Obama and Democrats and Liberals and Reds) no rest, no chance to reform, no coverup by the media, no lies on talk shows going unchallenged.

The TIME IS NOW TO ATTACK and continue attacking, until we finally start winning.

No hesitation, no complaining, no stopping, no despair. Only attack, attack, and attack, taking no prisoners and making the traitors and fools pay for their treason.

We have our targets in our sights. Now let’s attack them relentlessly.

The Federal government will not act on this until there is mass civil disobedience in the form of withholding tax payments.

Amen, and AMEN! I couldn't agree more.

But, we have a timing problem here. Unless this group (CMP) is able to keep a stream of these videos coming out for the next several weeks, I suspect the 'media' will do everything they can to bury the story and offer a multitude of distractions.

The only chance that exists for the funding of this group to be stopped is IF the gopE is willing to remove the ongoing funding from one of the "must pass" pieces of legislation coming up in the early Fall (e.g., debt ceiling, short-term CR, or CRomnibus), and hold FIRM when 0bama vetoes it. And continue to hold FIRM through the ensuing "shutdown."

I am sure that our gopE leaders are hoping that this story just fizzles out before push comes to shove in terms of the above.

This is an All Hands on Deck period for us, we all need to support the continued release of the CMP videos and use every means available to us to keep this story from getting buried and forgotten! Thank you, Jim, for ALL that you do for this and countless other battles!

Spot on. Congress is complicit in this slaughter and inhumanity if it does not only stop funding these Nazis, we must prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
