I’m a Texas CHL holder and I’m having difficulty working up much sympathy for these two women. To check for reprocity before packing across state lines is taught in CHL class, and, all one has to do is go to the Texas DPS homepage and there’s a CHL link that has the law, pertinent info including a reprocity list by state. So, till there’s a national reprocity law, got to do your homework.

Plus, the exact same thing happened several years ago and it was reported in the national news. Surely, it would also have been publicized in gun magazines and on the NRA website. You can’t live in a bubble.

Yup, hard to feel sorry for her. My CHL class spent quite a bit of time going over the licensee's responsibility when traveling out of state with your weapon. They make the info easy to find and very clear as to which states recognize TXs CHLs.

Why is that? Because they failed to submit to Tyranny? Because they were ignorant of Tyrannical Law?

Homework, schmomework. You shouldn't have to do much homework in a country that's really Free.

What these women did shouldn't be illegal anywhere in the USA. The fact that it is illegal in New York City certainly shouldn't prevent you from having sympathy for them.

I have sympathy for all victims of Tyrannical Law, whether they're intelligent or not, knowledgeable or not, savvy or not.

If enough American citizens defied such Tyrannical laws, maybe more of them would get repealed...

"..So, till there’s a national reprocity law, got to do your homework.."

Then there's that 2nd Amendment thingy.
Yeah, yeah. I know. But fugg'em. If they're gonna infringe, I'm gonna omit. Etc., etc. Everybody's gotta do what they think they gotta do, IMO.
Still, I'm on board with the easier solution of just not going into these states that are now "enemy territory". Why support'em?

“...shall not be infringed.”. I’d say that there covers all the reciprocity you’d need.

Use the ‘gay marriage’ to push the ‘logic’ into the 2nd realm...course, I expect no consistency.
