DURHAM, NH Donald Trump has taken the lead in the New Hampshire Primary race. This marks the first time that any Republican candidate has held a statistically significant lead in the Granite State. Trump is an extremely divisive candidate within the party as he is the candidate that New Hampshire Republicans say they are least likely to vote for. These findings are based on the latest WMUR Granite State Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. Seven hundred and twenty-two (722) randomly selected New Hampshire adults were interviewed by landline and cellular telephone between July 22 and July 30, 2015. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3.6 percent. Included were three hundred nine (309) likely 2016 Republican Primary voters (MSE = +/-5.6), two hundred seventy-six (276) likely 2016 Democratic Primary voters (MSE = +/-5.9), and six hundred and fifty-two (652) likely 2016 presidential election voters (MSE = +/- 3.8).
I think what there saying is that, although Trump has a higher percent than any other candidate, a large percent of those who didn’t pick him as their first choice, are saying that he’s their least favorite. For example, let’s say 25% chose Trump as their first choice. That may be a higher percent than any other candidate. On the other hand, if most of the 75% who didn’t choose him responded that he is their least favorite candidate, you could get the seemingly contradictory result that the survey claims.
I see this shaping up as jut the opposite of 2012. Then the establishment candidate won most of the primaries with a plurality, while the conservatives failed to rally around a single candidate, and went from one to another as each imploded in turn. This time it looks like the conservatives are coalescing around Trump early, and the GOP-e is desperately looking for someone to stop Trump. When their first choice (Jeb) fails, they will try Rubio, Kasich, Crispy, etc. but it will be too little, too late.
Bingo. They were prepared for everything, but not Trump. He has them in a panic, because they have no answer.
Love your tagline.
“They were prepared for everything, but not Trump. He has them in a panic, because they have no answer.”
Loving every minute . After 2012 I swore I’d never vote again , but I will if Trump gets the R nom or runs 3rd party .
I watched the entire Forum last night. All of them did o.k. I thought Cruz was very good and his closer was a “from-the-heart”, emotionally charged, best 30 second closer of the night. But, I’ll tell you Jindal and Fiorina were surprising. Jindal was on a Conservative, “take-no-prisoners” roll and Fiorina was tough as moose meat, but classy at the same time. They both knocked it out of the park. But, that’s just my opinion.
My take, as well...
That's the spirit - hedge one's bets until such time as the moment passes and opportunity is left by the wayside - again.
I'm for Cruz and am donating to his campaign, but I don't hesitate to celebrate what trumps is doing and the overall reaction speaks volumes.

That’s good, believe me. You are in wait and see mode as the election process is a long one.
