If You’ve Not Yet Donated to the Freep-a-Thon: How to Apply for Freep-a-Fare.
Damn straight you got some ‘splainin’ to do if you’ve been living off the giving of others on Free Republic.
Please note: I am not now nor have I EVER been in any kind of position with Free Republic. Since my first lurking experience in late 1997, and my sign-up in 1998, I have been a simple Freeper, nothing more ever.
That said, surely you’ve heard by now that about 5% of posters keep Free Republic online. The math is there for anyone who wants to look it up. Compare number of unique hits with number of donors, and you’ll see that approximately 5% bear the burden of keeping the best, conservative site on the web. (In recognition of those who have special circumstances that keep them from giving right now, know that many donors fully realize that when you get back on your feet that you’ll donate. We’re on your side. When your health improves, you gain employment, or a myriad of other legitimate concerns work out, know that freepers fully trust your integrity. And we pray for the God of all help to guide you through your obstacles.)
Now, for those who are simply living large off the largess of others, here is how to apply for Freep-a-Fare.
1. Click the Link to go to the Free Republic donation site: DONATE TO FREEP-A-THON
2. Click on the amount of freep-a-fare you would like.
3. Skip down to comments, filling in no other blocks.
4. In the comments block write: "I support national, state, local, and free republic welfare." Please have someone else carry my share of the burden. I’m feeling a little bit democratic party today.
See how easy that was?
But there’s more. You can ask for your name to be added to the “The Blood 1000 - I suck the blood out of others” Freep list.
If puzzled, please call your Democrat party precinct worker who will be pleased to assist you.
Challenge to an ADDTIONAL 25% of your normal donation to all other donors.
I wish I had some money, but I don’t.
