Ted Cruz: Obama’s Lawless and Radical EPA Regulations Are Flatly Unconstitutional

We were warned…
In January 2008 Barack Obama told the San Francisco Chronicle:

“Under my plan of a cap and trade system electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Businesses would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that cost onto consumers.”

He promised that his plan would cause electricity rates to skyrocket.

He wasn’t kidding.

On Saturday Obama announced his new energy plan that will squeeze energy companies and force consumer prices to necessarily skyrocket.
President Obama will release details on his anti-business plan later on Monday.

Today Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Barack Obama’s new EPA regulations are “flatly unconstitutional.”

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, released the following statement in response to President Obama’s announced EPA regulations:

“The President’s lawless and radical attempt to destabilize the Nation’s energy system is flatly unconstitutional and–unless it is invalidated by Congress, struck down by the courts, or rescinded by the next Administration–will cause Americans’ electricity costs to skyrocket at a time when we can least afford it. I urge leaders of both parties, including Democrats who represent communities that will be devastated by this reckless policy, to stand up against this Administration’s dangerous agenda of economic decline.”

Just electing a new ‘conservative’ president won’t solve the problem. The thousands upon thousands of dedicated left wing oriented civil servants who revel in promulgating these ‘rules’ also have to be removed, perhaps with prejudice or even extreme prejudice.

The EPA is no more about protecting the environment than Greenpeace. These days their sole goal is the destruction of existing jobs and the prevention of any new jobs in the future.

You forgot the elderly. He doesn’t give a rat’s tush how those on fixed incomes are going to manage the higher electrical rates.

He’s a bloody tyrant!

It won’t be invalidated by Congress, because the squatter in the white hut has a pen and a phone.

This may as well be a racist name look....on my part.

But America elected a guy named Barack Hussein Obama.

That right there...should have given pause. That and he told many what he was going to do...And some are surprised?

Of course a normal America FIRST press,,,would have exposed him. But, I digress....

The MSM is what they are....Leftist's, Socialist's..some Communist's...Left wing nut's.

They have their scripts....

The low information voter's are in control...guided by the MSM.

I see and talk to them all the time..............

RANT OFF

You’re right of course. One of the attractions of Trump is that he has practically copyrighted the phrase “You’re fired!”. I am not a fan of his because I don’t trust him. Never have. I think he is a Liberal play acting as a Conservative and if he was somehow elected president I’d expect him to return to form. But we do need to elect someone who will start gutting the bureaucracy their first day in office.

Following the exposure of Michael Mann’s East Anglia emails, Peabody Energy sued Obama’s EPA and won both the original case and the appeal.

They weren’t demanding money, they were demanding that new provable science be shown by the EPA, demonstrating global warming and the relationship to coal.

The Obama administration settled out of court, agreeing to facilitate the sale and shipment of sub-bituminous coal to Asia, while continuing their war on bituminous and anthracite coal, if Peabody would drop the law suit.

So, even if Peabody Energy has dropped their demand, it doesn’t mean that someone else cannot make the same case.

Ted Cruz has a history for fighting hard against government socialist agendas and often alone, for a long time.

So when ANYONE, from either side of the aisle, makes a claim that he is just imitating Trump to improve his standing in the polls is absolutely garbage.

People who got millions and billions don’t worry about the cost of electricity or living going up. Its just chump change to them. The difference to me might be whether we have enough food in the house or have to run fans instead of the AC to stay cool. Judgment Day is coming and when it does payback is going to be hell...literally...

Since when has our current King in the WH ever been bothered by that silly thing called the U. S. Constitution? Just about everything our boy King does is against the constitution and of course our spineless Congress and Supreme Court let him get away with it, why should this be any different? LORD please take your Church home and then the likes of Obama and his ilk can have this rotten world.

It seems that Obama is at a point where he’s just going to push it as far as he is allowed to push it.
